great 1st experience. my co-workers and myself frequent many of the eateries in and around high street. we were super excited to get to try out tin 202. the atmosphere was lovely--very classy and elegant, yet still fun. we were graciously greeted by partial owner, christopher evans. he ensured that everything during our lunch visit was satisfactory, if not, more than that. the service was very great, even though it was clear the server was a tad nervous.
so many different items on the menu made deciding what to order particularly hard--i don't know if the type of cuisine served can be narrowed into a singular "type." i ended up ordering the virginia pulled pork--which i was a little skeptical about because i am not a fan of pulled pork that utilizes a vinegar base. but it turned out to be fabulous--the pork had a good moisture to it and the sauce was not overpowering--great combination. the kettle chips that accompanied the sandwich were also delicious!
my co-workers each ordered a different dish--one ordered the corn chowder soup, another the chicken gyro, and another the pastrami panini. everyone loved the lunch that they ordered. the side salads varieties were a hit. and the fact that you have a lunchplacethat serves fabulous espresso didn't hurt either.
we will definitely be adding tin 202 to the regular list of restaurants that we frequent. definitely a hidden gem! must try!
