we had vegetarian buffet dinner at timpani. the spread is very good. starts with soup & two starters. then they have a salad bar with around 7-8 varieties. there was a live counter for enchiladas. then main course had 4-5 vegetables & my favourite was methi matar paneer. a few veggies were made south indian style that i dint like. there was baked dish & noodles & chinese veggies too. dessert bar was nice with western sweets dominating the choices! the staff was very good & service was prompt! overall we liked it but its very high on pocket! with taxes & gst, the pp comes to around 1400/- the ambience is ok not that great. so if you want to spend 1500 pp i would suggest better luxurious places like hyatt or courtyard :)

worst of breakfast, all looked like last meal and no one cared about food. it’s worst than 2 star hotels, nothing is fresh. south indian food is served cold with cold sambar, gujarati snacks are dipped in vapour water and handva and patra are so thick that you won’t like to touch them. it’s not hot and no variety. no taste no cleanliness. don’t ever think to visit this place .

timpani, meaning the kettledrums, was a mixed bag experience. heres something on the brunch... everything on the food was simply superb, good on taste and low on oil or heaviness. loved the laal maas and the chap and chicken starter the most. eggs counter, chat counter, pavbhaji counter and chhole kulche çounter were either invisible or not available. i hate when they write in menu what all can be available instead of what is available. 3 non veg starters were there instead of four expected.
when it comes to food, one of the most tender laal maas i have had... everything about the food was way above my expectations. it was brilliant. cant take off the keri panna off my mind even after >24 hours. desserts were just perfect, gulaab rabri and gulaab laddu were a sinful surprise along side mung dal halwa... hats off and kudos to the chef.
when it comes to service, it way below par. they prepared food on the live countera but was not served on the table. serving was very very delayed in general. ice cream was served only when enquired about it and fulka roti was denied straight away
in a nutshell, if one wants to treat the taste buds, rush to timpani. it will be feast.. if one wants to be served well (also), look for options

this is such a feel good wonderful place . generally i don’t give full ratings but my experience with timpani was splendid .

firstly , this is the first restaurant in the lot of five/four star hotel which is providing a tasteful supper .

ambience is nothing extraordinary but if you are lucky and there are less number of people you gonna have peaceful lunch / dinner. tidy . big tables . comfortable sittings .

food - there is ala carte as well as buffet .
i have opted for ala carte .
ordered panner lababdar, chicken tikka , lachha paratha , chicken dum biryani .
i just loved the salan which was accompanied with biryani . food is very tasty . mild but flavourful . also ordered chips and dips .

would suggest if it could be freshly made. i felt it was from the frozen lot( chips, wedges and smileys)

service was good .

prices ? hmmm little on higher side but once in a while it’s okay to spend . it’s worth the quantity and quality .

awesome breakfast buffet! the staff and waiters are super polite and even though i am biased in favour of radisson blu, they always ensure i remain biased. spread includes almost everything (yes!!) and it is served super well. must try are masala omelette and waffles / pancakes! first time in ahmedabad and doesn’t feel like it. it mostly feels home whenever i am in any restaurant of radisson blu! kudos!

i had given a rating of 4 before my recent visit to this place, but it seems they have lost that charm and the standard of food has deteriorated al lot

sunday brunch at timpani - radisson blu, had been since long in my wish list, hence i prepared myself for indulgence... (you need that for brunches, that too on a sunday!!)

going gaga on food was my mood and timpani is a place where the buffet spread is quite lavish & artistique; to fit onto all kinds of pallets moods and needs. quite a wide assortment for both vegetarian and non- vegetarian lovers, they have very smartly segregated entire non-veg counter, from salads to main course, by pushing it right behind, so that the same is not even visible to veg inclined foodies in gujarat, at the same time serve the best possible to the carnivores.

soups, interesting mix of salads.. be it oriental, indian chats or russian; hearty eggs, wide range of starters and a lavish buffet spread.

what i liked most was the chicken stew, mutton rara, baked mushroom and broccoli and the sweet delights!!

aam panna and thandai were top of the pops!!

great experience. good spread, good service. menu selection was also good with balanced taste. the dessert spread was awesome. though one of the starter had an issue besides that each and every item was good.

we usually go to the kebab factory at radisson. this time went to timpani with family for christmas brunch.

was very disappointed with the service. waiters had to be reminded 2 to 3 times to get our order from the live counters.

except for some items most of the food was just average in taste.

went for the buffet dinner with friends.. sorry to say but there was no one thing which i can say i that i liked it apart from service.

ambiance was ok but live music was too loud.. live music suits when its happening at distance our tabel were too close to enjoy the music on top of it we didnt had opportunity to talk..

food was nothing near to ordinary... sorry to say if ppl love the food than they should try some options nearby.. they have to definately work on it... we were recommended blueberry mocktail but didnt liked it and has to be replaced... the spread had very selective options in both veg n non veg... desserts were ok but could be better..

service was excellent, but that only doesn't count.

overall disappointment.

not so radisson
went for dinner buffet
started with chat & salad which was ok
then came soup veg. hot & sour with two slices of mushroom & few shraded cabbage as veg & accompanied with bread rolls & focasi bread, now who eat bread with an oriental soup, either put a soup which goes along the bread or don't put the bread just to feel the space on buffet, then came some live tikki & sauteed paneer which was average again but it followed but some good mongolian noodles, first one satisfactory thing so far.
main course was average as well, stared with properly cooked vegetables in white sauce, followed by some very poor oriental dishes & not so good north indian food except dal, u have to say the dal & rice were good though, to my shocker there were 2 dishes made from same gravy tasting exactly same one with paneer & the another one with soya & peas which good hotels does this?
desserts were good nice hot gulab jamon with some cakes & mousse & proper icecream.
service was average as well,i have remind twice for few items to be served, but having a buffet u can't complain on this.
i haven't had a la carte here though any time but if u ask me for buffet i will suggest u can find many better places in ahmedabad & may be at a lower price the here.
