tip: have enough place in your tummy to hog the delicious delicacieswe went to radisson blu, timpani restaurant after reading the reviews today. and i must say that we were not disappointed. the buffet menu had a exquisite variety for salads which i have not had anywhere else. thetastewas awesome... i loved the salads especially chicken salami salad and grilled mushrooms. the list is endless...the main course was also good with combination of some usual delicacies and different ones too. also, loved the desserts. the service is great... the staff served us quickly anything that was asked. the ambience is also good. on the whole...it was excellent experience...keep it up !!!

if you wish to try something different ...this place is a must try. i am looking forward now to 'the great kabab factory'

that's exactly what i did, my hunger for desserts made me break out and rush to radisson blu. chose this today since it's very close from where i stay and i didn't really have a lot of time. so far i've been to timpani for desserts a couple of times and haven't been particularly impressed. i've always felt they're high on presentation, although the overalltasteand variety could definitely do with some upgrading. sure they provide some really different desserts consisting of white chocolate and nougat, passion fruit etc. whichtastedecent as well but so far i haven't really come across anything here that'd make me go, wow! surprisingly, no cheesecakes either. the place definitely scores good points in terms of the ambiance and service.

1. cold coffee - 3/5
2. opera - 3/5
3. strawberry banoffee centre - 2.5/5
4. tropical pastry- 2/5

the coffee could have been a tad stronger, was a bit too mild for my taste. however it already came loaded with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. not everybody would appreciate it perhaps.

the opera, again could do with a tad more amount of coffee flavor for me. it was nice and soft otherwise.

light as a marshmallow and containing a good flavor of strawberry there's not much that can be said about the strawberry banoffee centre.

colorful and playful, although très ordinaire. topped with a few fruits and some light cream. didn't quite make the cut for me.

the prices are a bit on the higher side,
however with a 30% off scheme that they have going, it might just work for you.

average cost per person if you order a coffee and a dessert : 3-400 more or less.

i went to timpani last night with family for saturday night buffet. this was my 1st visit to timpani and my experience there was nothing short of horrible!
the food served at timpani is nothing less of a joke for the price they charge and the variety served especially in non-veg is a bigger joke.
my non-veg lovers, for 1300 bucks all they serve in buffet is 2 starters (chicken & fish), 1..yes just one main course (fish curry), biryani and some shitty soup. that's all! do you call this a buffet????
and don't get me even started on thetasteof the food. the chicken starter was alright intastebut a little chewy. the only good thing was the fish starter to an extent thought nothing to boast of. but then it goes downhill totally..from the plain tasting fish curry. and the chicken biryani was one of the worst i ever had. the chicken pieces were cold (i swear) as if they just got it from the fridge and very salty. being a biryani lover i felt like puking after eating this crap.
in the name of desserts they just serve 3-4 dishes..all below average in taste.
this was one of the worst experiences i ever had and i'm never gonna come back to this money-looting restaurant..and i won't recommend any food lover to go there.
the service was fine but i'm not paying 1300 bucks for yes sir, sorry sir, sure sir.

really not recommended. went there for sunday brunch and was extremely dissapointed with the limited options available, the bad service and thetasteof the food. even cutlery was not kept on the table and when we asked for it, it took the waiters 15 minutes to bring them. far from 5-star service.

we opted for sunday brunch at timpani, the best thing about the place is that they follow all safety standards in these covid times. other than that the staff was friendly and courteous.
coming to food, the options were very limited and whatever available wasn't also upto the mark. veg food was very bad notasteat all, non veg was a bit betty in comparison. the tables were also very small and congested. overall not a good experience, two stars given are for prompt service and good hygiene maintained.

would suggest to avoid going at radission. firstly as you can see in pic the food is super oily and tasteless. very limited options are available. service very slow though just two tables are occupied. food is pathetic intasteand worst is that they are not serious about covid 19 rules . manager is roaming without mask , limited sanitising options and many other can be improved upon. please avoid going to radission for lunch or dinner for your safety and food is also not worth

they didnt inform that the menu will be limited due to the current situation. a kind of cheating. food was very limited and thetastewas average. wasted money. highly disappointed

we ordered tomato basil soup, it was stale andtastelike complete artificial soup that too came after lonnnggg wait. my husband got stomach upset because of dinner we had here!! won't say completely avoid but be careful guys they can serve anything

ever worsttasteof food.. a lady with too much attitude was attending only foreign customers with smile.. she didnt even interested to communicate with us properly.. when we told her about this she quarreled with us and destroyed our mood.. pls dont spend your money here.. waste of money and time.

its well known for its quality and taste...its to good for zomato gold if u wanna enjoy alakat..
its 5 star for presentation,quality as well astasteof food and ambience...however without the buffet it tkes time for presentation...buffet is worth for money

we had visited the restaurant yesterday for buffet dinner. the ambiance of the restaurant is good. now, coming to the buffet spread (we had opted veg meals ) they had a average spread of salads, just one soup ,2 starters like the ones u get in average restaurant harabhara javab and paneer tikka nothing wow in theirtasteeither.

coming to main course the spread had chinese food , drum stick and tomatoes ,soya paneer , aloo methi ,veg kadhai , dal , rice , indian breads and masala butter milk all these items were okay nothing great.

the desserts too the dudhi halwa was too dry , even the pastries were not upto the mark.

overall an okaish meal would definitely not visit again.

p.s. - the staff was very courteous

good ambience with prompt service nd courteous staff. i am highly thankful to the staff as i went for buffet lunch with my one year old baby boy ..he really liked the moong dal khitchdi made especially by the chef.. dessert was good ..nd food was average .

we are celebrating valentine day at timpani since 4 years but this year the food was very ridiculous.
paying so much we were waiting for the food like we asking it for free. everytime we were having food thetastewas different. the juice first we had was perfect than they started adding water to it. the staff were in their own. calling manager twice thrice but he was so much into his work. no attention was paid, i felt that they were feeding us forcefully. most disgusting atmosphere. being a large chain of hotels and such hospitality was very very dissapointing. i will never ever visit again and will not let others around us.

radisson blu ahemdabad is celebrating wazwan, the kashmiri food fest and is on till 23rd december, 2018. famous culinary expert, fayyaz waza from kashmir is flown in here to do the food fest. all the spices and the ingredients are brought from kashmir to give the real authentictasteand the food was just mind blowing.

had some scintillating starters like tabak maans, kanti chicken, perfectly done. traditional kashmiri breads, like bakarkhani, roth , delicious soft and fresh.
splendid array of dishes for the mains, both veg and non veg are there to relsih. very famous traditional nadru yakhni......lotus stems in gravy.tamatar chaman.... delicious paneer in gravy. rajma masala, dum aloo, haak saag, yellow tadka dal. very flavorful and different in taste.

mouthwatering mutton roganjosh, rista.... meatballs in red gravy, mutton biryani, chicken aloobukhara, goshtaba....mutton and lamb balls done with yogurt, ghee, spices, meat is beaten for hours to make it  into softballs in gravy.

apple halwa as a dessert. kehwa the traditional tea is there to warm you up in these winter evenings.

purushotam, f&b manager, chetak goyal, exec chef and the team have put in their hard work to bring these delicacies in the comfort of there restaurant, timpani.
