came here on our last evening innoosa(also hubby's birthday). food was absolutely delicious. the terrine was really interesting with the flavour and textures complementing each other - pork, veal, pistachio and cumquat - and not too fatty at all, so it could be eaten on its own when the toast ran out. the lamb shoulder with orecchiette was just amazing and the ocean trout also fresh and flavoursome. finally, the creme brûlée had a perfect crispy top! a fantastic foodie experience with nothing left on the plates! (my 4yo daughter loved everything too!)

service was appalling. staff were so rude! the food was underwhelming to say the least. the dumplings were bland and the fish was so overcooked it was like rubber. not worth a fraction of the cost. another over priced and massively under performingnoosarestaurant. there are so many great restaurants in the area and these type of places just let the rest of them down.

worst meal in noosa. the service was o.k,
i couldn't believe what we got for what we paid for, nothing more than a meal cooked at home but lacking any flavour or know how. been staying innoosafor 2 weeks, and this is by far the worst meal we've had anywhere. stay away!

bistro elegance. well situated at the corner of thomas st. and gympie terrace, overlookingnoosariver, diners have choice of inside or outside (but weatherproof) seating. nice bistro type menu with oysters, entree, terrines, salads and mains duck, steak, seafood, chicken etc. quality ingredients - e.g. tried the berkshire pork and was nice and moist with perfectly cooked vegetables. extensive wine list. nice ambiance and surroundings. desert list (large and small) quite long with larger tarts to smaller finger lime slice (a nice touch for a native rainforest citrus) plus desert wines/liqueurs. or you could skip desert and have an ice-cream from the gelato outlet next door.

thomas corner eatery sits alongside the river in noosaville. it’s a ten minute drive fromnoosaheads (or a $10 to $15 taxi ride). i discovered thomas corner eatery in an article aboutnoosain gourmet traveller magazine. the restaurant sits alongside the river david rayner and belinda frew are owners with a very clear vision – to bring to locals and tourists a ‘relaxed and informal eatery, honest and intelligent food, with no frills, froths or fancy garnishes’ . o n seeing this vision/philosophy boldly on the menu cover i knew it was a place to feast wisely . thomas corner eatery’s philosophy – a place to feast wisely the restaurant offers thoughtful and interesting dishes in a casual setting. david and belinda opened thomas corner eatery in 2010 and have clearly remained close to the detail. belinda emailed me directly when i sought clarification (anonymously) on a dish to help with this write up. thomas corner eatery – the view i booked for an early seating to make the most of the w

my noosaville "local". i've just had the pleasure of holidaying in noosaville for the last 10 days. thomas corner eatery rapidly became our local, and my friends and i ended up visiting 5 times during our holiday. it never failed to disappoint with delicious and interesting food, great service and lovely views over thenoosariver. it's a restaurant to suit everyone, including my friend's mother who celebrated her 90th birthday with us at thomas corner eatery. she loved it too. menu highlights to recommend include the cuttlefish risotto, the mushroom gnocchi and the pork belly.

dinner with my family. up innoosafor a few days from sydney visiting my dad. wanted to take my dad and family to a nice restaurant before we went back home. dad picked this restaurant and it was great. fantastic service, beautiful food and good value. we had a waiter serving us who was very attentive and clearly had a lot of hospitality experience (no english back packers here) not that there is anything wrong with that. all in all a great dining experience on all accounts and i highly recommend it

seriously good - seriously. after reading mixed reviews on urban spoon i thought i'd better try thomas corner out for myself. the reviews i had read had been pretty polarising - people either loved it or not. after going there all i can say is that the people in the 'not' category need their heads (and their tastebuds) read. seriously good. better than good. the food is original (such a hard thing to find on the sunshine coast), ridiculously tasty, beautifully presented and well priced. the service is casual but friendly and efficient. the setting, looking out on thenoosariver was just gorgeous. i had the sardines and my friend had the duck salad. we both said we could go back tomorrow and eat it again. we just might!

awfull beyond belief. i cannot begin to discribe how bad the food is here,, the location drew us in, its looked swank and casual, then the food came out, omg, some chefs should just not open their own restuarants who dont have a clue about food, its a shame there is this big black mark onnoosariver riuning peoples days on vacation.
shame on you thomas corner!

noosa style to perfection. sitting on the high stool , looking across the road and seeing thenoosariver made me want to sit there all day. in fact, we did sit there for a long time. after lunch it was the perfect spot for an afternoon drink. the waitress was very friendly and made us feel comfortable we didnt want to leave. i had the best bug sandwich i have ever tasted with some home made chips that were delicious. my wife had gravlax and bug. the seafood was very fresh and we both loved it
