food was fantastic. we went on a thursday night and it was yum the waitstaff were also very good. returned on the sunday and it was good as well but waited an over for breakfast and waitstaff were rude and ignored us. overall great food andniceatmosphere by far the best food in noosaville but don't go if you're hungry!

surprisingly good. having had a poor experience at the owner's previous restaurant, we were nervous about eating here - especially with the mixed reviews.
we came away mostly happy. the only fault seemed to be communication between the waiters and the kitchen, giving too long between courses, and a small mix up.
however the french waiter we (mainly) had was excellent. the food was delicious, different, and plentiful.
good value, too.nicesetting, and good menu. overall, a place to try again.

nice food but given the prices the ambience for dinner lets it down. excellent wait staff. niceposition but few tables enjoy the river views

only been here for breakfast, so i can’t speak regarding lunch or dinner! highly recommend the ‘mushrooms’ breakfast. waiters were very friendly and helpful. kids breakfast was $12.50, but a very decent size. waffles were a little on the small side. probably not the best place for families with young children (lack of kids menu options), but it’s a lovely, cool place overlooking the river. coffee wasnicebut not the best. i did find it a little overpriced for some items (muffin for $6, coffee $4.50, add bacon to your meal for $5.50).

you get what you pay for and this place is no exception. yes it's expensive and yes the starter portions might be a little light on for what you pay but it packs a punch in taste.

the service is not onlynicebut knowledgable. one had that sense that it was going to be good when we walked in.

i'd go here weekly if i lived here.

this place was great. meals were delicious and staff i found to beniceand accommodating. after reading all the fantastic reviews we had to come here and it was a good solid 4. it wasn't a five for me!! the king fish was a special and it wasnicebut cut to thick and not served as delicate as it should have been.! my opinion!! the prawn linguette was really delicious but small and strong on the garlic! meal sizes in general were quite small. more al la carte style. i would happily recommend this place for anicemeal. not sure i'd agree with its current review score though!

consistently quality food and always some originality with both recipes and ingredients. a great setting near the river and they do anicelittle after special which we started with, bubbles and oysters.

bistro elegance. well situated at the corner of thomas st. and gympie terrace, overlooking noosa river, diners have choice of inside or outside (but weatherproof) seating.nicebistro type menu with oysters, entree, terrines, salads and mains duck, steak, seafood, chicken etc. quality ingredients - e.g. tried the berkshire pork and wasniceand moist with perfectly cooked vegetables. extensive wine list.niceambiance and surroundings. desert list (large and small) quite long with larger tarts to smaller finger lime slice (anicetouch for a native rainforest citrus) plus desert wines/liqueurs. or you could skip desert and have an ice-cream from the gelato outlet next door.

dinner with my family. up in noosa for a few days from sydney visiting my dad. wanted to take my dad and family to anicerestaurant before we went back home. dad picked this restaurant and it was great. fantastic service, beautiful food and good value. we had a waiter serving us who was very attentive and clearly had a lot of hospitality experience (no english back packers here) not that there is anything wrong with that. all in all a great dining experience on all accounts and i highly recommend it

typical noosaville. quality little pocket of happiness with aniceview of the water and good choices for lunch. i had the pulled pork shoulder baguette with crackling andit was a huge serving that i just managed to wolf down. very tasty indeed. had the treacle tart for dessert and the excellent rhubarb barely saves the dish. wouldn't order it again, with the many choices available that look good on paper at least. passable coffee. slovenly service. will go back for a second go to see if the experience is better.

great addition to noosaville. reallynicerestaurant on the gympie tce strip - your choice of the grill + sides or a small but interesting selection of mains (i had the ribbon pasta with wild mushrooms + poached duck egg - yum!). really enjoyed my dessert of banana fritters too. don't really understand why the carafes are beakers ala high school science? doesn't really fit with the vibe...

loved it.. we had dinner there last night. great service, simple delicious food and excellent wine. prices were good and children were well looked after. so glad to have somewhere with anicecasual feel but great food to go in noosa.
it is a shame that some reviewers above had such a terrible time. i've only got one thing to say to them - chill out! this is noosa - who is in a huge rush here? relax and enjoy yourself. btw our meals arrived very promptly and we felt very well looked after by our excellent waitress. looking forward to returning for brunch, lunch and dinner again.
