had dinner here with 6 friends 12/27/2017. food was good but we froze. they had space heaters but still had to eat with our coats on. our noses were frozen. could not enjoy the meal due to the cold. when we were done and tried to pay they were having computer problems and we were stuck there even longer. when we talked to the manager he informed us that it was cold outside and therefore cold in there. due to the atmosphere we will never recommend or visit this restaurant again. manager was not accommodating, several other table left due to the cold and lack of an answer.

friday evening hangout place with amazing choice of burgers, loaded nachos and lot of beers! searching for a place to watch a soccer match with friends? this place is the deal.

i went to the yard to have brunch with some coworkers and i wasn't disappointed the food was amazing, the customer service was great and the place was packed so that's always a good sign!

love the yard! best grilled cheese sandwiches that i have ever had in my life! great beer selection too. this place is a must try if you want some comfort food!

when for a weekday lunch. nice menu selection and portion size. i had crabby patty sandwich which was pleasantly different. service a little on the slow side.

this is actually for the location in market square; assume the food is the same. have eaten here twice. both times food was really good. i don't eat bread, so finding something to eat is challenging, but there are still options. it is super super loud. and the crowd is very young, which is probably connected to why i think it's so loud.

great food, the bloody mary bar or bottomless mimosa is a great addition to brunch menu. our server was busy but on top of things for the most part. some incorrect things coming from the kitchen, we got the wrong apps ordered pork sliders got burgers which once pointed out was corrected, on our entrees 2 of them had wrong fries which were take back and had to flag down waiter to get the right ones. it was busy things happen we will be back was not major negatives to turn us away

great! this has to be one of the best deals for your money in the city. the massive grilled cheese sandwiches (not all just cheese, mine had pulled pork) come with your choice of seasoned fries and a cup of tomato soup. a better deal than panera. great beer list and also very reasonably priced. most places raise the price so high on beer, but this is not the case. also, fabulous service. can't wait to go back!

i am very happy to say that only one week after i had a terrible patty-melt, i had a fantastic hamburger at the yard in market square. the place is located in a rather peculiar building close to nola on the square. it used to be this strange old italian restaurant that never had any patrons, now it is a vibrant hangout for bankers and office jockeys with several large televisions.  also, i must mention that it is very loud. they really need to do something about the acoustics of the space. this was either an extremely serious issue or i am aging rapidly.

i had poppin my collar which was one the best grilled cheese sandwiches i've ever had. really good selection of sandwiches. tomato soup was ok. fries were really good but they don't give you as much as stack'd. a bit pricey for amount of food they give but overall a really good meal.

went there yesterday (a saturday). not too crowded, but its geared for hipsters. it's overrated, a slight bit pricey and its first priority is beer. my first priority is food. the two never meet. if you love beer, go here. if you love food, pick someplace else. the food is mediocre. 2.5

i went here for the first time last night with my fiancé and our friends. we were really excited because we had heard good things. let me start off with the positives: the service was good, and the poutine was amazing. they have a large selection of beer, and my friend liked her adult cream soda beverage. now for the negatives: the caprese salad did not taste as fresh as we would have liked it, especially since the restaurant claims to use local foods. there was hardly any basil in it. now onto the grilled cheese. i got the wang chung tonight. i didn't taste any cheese on it, and the pork seemed like chicken. generally, the bread should be thinner, and have a little more butter on the outside to get it nice and golden brown and crispy. i eat grilled cheese for the cheese, and i don't want 2 slices of thick bread to mask the star of the dish.

the desserts were fun and decadent. my friends loved the donuts, and they ordered them just plain.

i would go back for the poutine, and to have some drinks, but that's about it.

great atmosphere and crowd. service was impeccable from the hostess to our server. comfort food at its finest. you must try the smack yo mama grilled cheese! also a great beer selection.

great food. this place is a must try. only have dined once, but i cannot wait to go back!
