it devastates me to do this, but i had a pretty ordinary experience.

arrived and the lovely girl promptly told us to sit at a table and said she would bring menus and water to us. we chose to sit outside on a beautiful autumn day. we soon discovered that the lovely girl wasn't the server in our area and happily showed new customers to the tables inside and got them water and menus promptly. the server in the outside area, avoided eye contact with me when i tried to wave her down to get some menus. about 10 minutes had passed with no menus or water. the server noticed some of her friends sitting next to us. she came over to them and decided to have a chat. fed up, i picked up some menus from a nearby 'reserved' table.

eavesdropping on her conversation, which was 2 feet away, she told her friends about some of the 'shit' customers she had this morning. what seemed like eternity, especially after spending 15 minutes (not exaggerating), she said to her friends that she should probably get back to 'work'. she had her back to every customer in the area, not just us. she turned to us and asked for our order, no apologies for keeping us waiting. we also asked for some water, which we never got until another server had delivered our drinks. she happily served other customers with theirfoodand drinks but she did not deliver one thing to us or asked how we were going.

i'm not a grumpy person, i give everyone a
go and understand that sometimes people may have bad days, but she seemed happy to see her friends, however had a very poor attitude with her customers, which reflected in the conversation she had with her friends.

i sound like a winey cow after this scathing review. i hope this girls attitude has changed as would love to go there again with a more positive experience.

best cafe in mornington been coming here for few years now,thefoodis modern fresh and always moving it's yhe place to be and seen well done you guys keep it up

a perfectly-worded pun for the name of this cafe restaurant along the mornington peninsula. staff are friendly, the air smells like sea breeze, atmosphere is bustling andfoodis delicious. for breakfast/brunch, their range of avocado dishes is impressive, particularly the spanner crab and smoked salmon option. for lunch, their main meals are generous in portion size and flavour. the open, superfood sandwich was filling yet made you feel "super" after eating it; pair it with haloumi cheese, and you have yourself a winner! for dinner, their meals are just as impressive; but come the winter months, you'll see me back again to try their highly recommended gnocchi dish!

we engaged the winey cow to cater for our training course and to say we were highly impressed and delighted with their amazing service and deliciousfoodwould be an understatement! all the staff were friendly and nothing was ever a problem. their attention to detail and punctuality was of the highest standard. such a wonderful team, who truely deliver the goods! highly recommend their catering and will definitely be using their service again.

a small local restaurant with exceptional customer service. our waitress (jessica) was wonderful and thefoodwas absolutely delicious!! we will definitely visit again ❤️

we got the chicken bao but it was actually just a white burger bun. very flat and not fluffy like bao should be. chicken over cooked and stringy. no flavour. probs the worst bao/burger i’ve ever had. chips were cold becausefoodwas sitting up on kitchen counter for at least 5mins before staff finally went and got it. literally 3 staff just standing around talking at the front. chips had no flavour even though they were suppose to be 7 spice chips.... tasted like frozen chips from the supermarket. so expensive for badfoodand service. will not go back.

a great spot to stumble on into on a lovely morning i say. first things first - good coffee. thefoodwas great and that goes for the whole group i was with (even with their chicken waffles). i got a try at the vegan burger and vegan brekkie bowl (looks like their menu has evolved from the one on this zomato page at the moment) - both were flavoursome! the overall vibe a happy space, loud and busy. the staff had enough time to share a laugh with you and were full of smiles. next time i’m up the mornington way i’ll plan on a return visit for sure.

spent a lovely friday morning at winey cow.foodwas delivered speedily with great service. each dish had so many different components to it that worked harmoniously together. slightly on the pricey side however.

ahhhhmazing! smack bang in the middle of the main street with street seating and a nice bright interior - it fits in perfectly in the coastal, foodie town!

was so happy to see some vegan options (and some fresh ideas for veganfoodtoo - not just the same old!) i went with the zucchini and corn fritter burger and it was up there with one of the best burgers i’ve ever eaten. crispy, crunchy fritter pattie with beetroot relish, vegan aioli and avocado in a soft bun and served with crispy french fries - it was a 10/10 meal. the mango smoothie and oj were delicious too.

the service was really good - they were very busy as it was a public holiday and the staff were always on the go.

we left happy, satisfied and very full!

every time i come here, the staff are always friendly and thefoodis always nothing short of amazing. i would recommend the brunch stack, absolutely delicious!

having been a few times, this place was always a favourite. but unfortunately this time around, i didn’t enjoy the food. the customer service was quick andfoodcame out altogether which i know can be hard to do, so was pretty impressed since we were a table of 8. the vietnamese salad i had was far too “wet” and there was only about 4 pieces of calamari. i thought it was an absolute rip off for $26.40. my friends enjoyed their burgers though. they are also incredibly cheeky with putting an extra 10% on the bill for weekends. haven’t encountered this before, so must be a new thing. there are plenty of better eateries in mornington that do not do the surcharge. most likely will not be dining here again on the weekend.

really impressed by this cafe/restaurant on mornington main street. the menu has something for everyone and a variety of freshly made meals. this is my second time here and the staff were just as welcoming, friendly, & attentive as before. you will be paying slightly higher prices but won't complain as thefoodand produce is delicious. highly recommend the pulled pork + hollandaise benedict with apple.

greatfoodbut could use an expansion on the vegan options! would also love to see sweet potato fries here, was shocked when they weren’t on the menu. will definitely be back again soon!!

coffee is nice , butfoodis a bit pricey. well i visited there at public holiday , super busy plus surcharge . look at fries i got ....i wish i am unlucky one and wish everyone got a nice experiences at this cafe
