the strip club 104 a steak house

poor service from rude staff. never go here, regardless of how "great" thefoodis supposed to be. we were in town for a funeral and someone recommended this place. we arrived to be greeted by a rude and unprofessional female staff. she asked “what do you want” and we asked “to be seated.” she stated “we seat our last customers at 1:30pm, sorry.” it was 1:32pm!; i explained that we were in town for a funeral and really wanted to try their burgers. she disappeared and came back and said “the owner said no, we won’t be serving you.” we enjoyed copper river right down the street...they were very welcoming. service is everything and this place is greatly lacking.

review. was not impressed. service was fair at best. asked for blue cheese stuffed olives in drink and he said they were too busy (we were only ones in the dining room at that time). eventually he did provide. server did not review specials as other servers did. wedge salad was served with a fried egg (not zesty in my book but i should have noticed it on the menu,

entrees were warm (very hot plate) butfoodwas luke warm - basically flavorless. poor presentation - garlic mashed looked like scooped with ice cream spoon and thrown on plate. steak was cooked to order but awfully small for $18.

side dish on date's plate (rice) was completely without flavor. she did enjoy the crab cake, although again, presentation was weak at best.

steak place with no baked potato???? $59 dollar high end steak and they don't serve espresso (just like sister resturant bin 112 - although it's very good)

overall - maybe a 2 on a one to ten scale. server tried to push a loyalty program on us and seemed miffed when we didn't jump on it.

lastly - manager never came over to speak to us. spoke to some folks at a table where he knew people but never came over to ask how we enjoyed dinner.

will probably give them some time to work through issues and clean it up a bit. for rick erwins prices (love that place), it's got a long way to go.

hope they make it but am seriously doubtful if improvements are not made. they need to remember they are in greer and a $59 steak doesn't sell there with weak service and no high end ammenties... just sayin...

we had a large party (9) during the lunch hour. we were in line to be seated and the staff indicated the could not give us a time when we would be seated. one of my coworkers saw a large grouping of tables & inquired about it & the staff indicated it was reserved. a couple of coworkers who had tried to make reservations on other occasions indicated they thought reservations weren't taken. the staff then indicated that reservations were taken for parties of 8 or more. we then wanted to be seated outdoors but they were going to seat us at separate tables. we asked if tables could be moved together, the waitress checked & came back & indicated she couldn't move them together.....what?? then we said we would rather be seated together, so we were then told it would be about 20 mins. the party that had reservations arrived but the staff then seated them at a round table, so we thought we were going to be seated....the staff proceeded to break the tables up & proceeded to seat others??? what??? after multiple times it bring told it was going to be 10 mins we were finally seated 1.5 hrs later!! needless, to say i was ready to go elsewhere long ago. thank goodness thefoodwas tasty. i've never experienced incompetence in understanding how to seat a large party....not sure i will return.

the best restaurant meal i've ever had in greenville. the title is not an exaggeration: everything about our dining experience at the strip club 104 in greer combined to make it not only my new favorite restaurant in the area, but i feel comfortable saying it's the best restaurant dining experience i've ever had around here. from reservation and service to thefoodand ambiance, i rate it 5 stars! my date had the sexy steak with grilled asparagus and lobster mac and cheese topped with bacon. i had grilled scallops, rice pilaf and grilled asparagus. we shared a house salad and a pimento cheese appetizer. the beef was tender and the scallops were grilled perfectly! i really hesitate to write this review only because i don't want the place to get so crowded i have to wait for a table!! don't go by the urbanspoon app that may not let you make a reservation; call sean and let him work his magic, even short notice. except for 15+ years in europe with all its culinary wonders and a few other stops along the way, i've spent most of my life in and around greenville, and seen restaurants come and go. you can spend more money and enjoy a different atmosphere, but i doubt you will find a more satisfying combination than the one provided by the staff at strip club 104. in a word: superlative!

visiting my parents from new orleans and was very impressed by the greatfoodand service. rivals any place in nola at a much more reasonable price!

greatfoodand drinks!. high class place! love the ambiance of this establishment. top shelf bourbons and great presentation on thefoodand drinks alike.

thefoodis excellent and the price is comparable to the taste of the food.

for starters we tried the flaming saganaki which is greek mediterranean melting cheese seasoned, floured and fried golden brown. flamed with cognac and finished with fresh lemon. served with warm bread. soft and crunchy texture combination and rich in flavor.

also tried the calabash calamari that is breaded and fried squid seasoned with perfect spices and fried golden brown. served with a spicy tarragon rémoulade. squeeze the lemon on top which adds a great contrast of tartness.

for dinner i had the house-aged 1855 black angus filet mignon with a lobster sherry gravy, cooked medium rare to perfection. side of garlic mashed potatoes and cheeseheads mac n cheese. best mac n cheese i have had since my travels to wisconsin.

overall i will give it a 8 out of 10 which is pretty high when comparing to steaks i've had in chicago and la. i would/have recommended this hidden gem to many people in the upstate area.

first time. this was my first visit me and my wife had reservations we were seated promptly and the waiter we had (jeff)was very knowledgeable of the menu and courteous. now to thefoodboth of our dishes were exceptional my wife's steak was cooked perfect. greer really needed this.

the strip club 104...meh, not that great.. my wife and i were excited about going here based on a recommendation from a work colleague. had reservations and upon seating, i knew that this was not going to be a good start. first off, with just the two of us, they sat us at a table that was about two feet from other tables to the left and right. really tight. hard to carry on a conversation with the person you are with. then the menu, which, while complete, did not explain the two prices for each item. had to ask the waiter to decipher this (if it was explained on the menu, we did not see it). prices hovered at $12 for half portions upwards of $32 for full portions. which brings me to the main gripe. full portions are pretty lame. my steak was supposedly a 12 ounce strip, but looked like 8 ounces. also, it was overcooked and not flavorful at all. i had skipped on the extra sauces they provided for an additional $2, but after the fact, wished i had to add something to it. my wife did not like her tuna as it was raw (sashimi style... she did not notice that in the description until she checked after the fact)... so she ate around it. then, it being saturday night, it was really packed and the service was extremely slow. our waiter was stuck at a round table of 6 and left us and others hanging. we opted for dessert just to get our fill and mine, which i was led to believe was a brownie with ice cream was not, a gritty, pasty brown dish that was not that great. at least my wife's was delicious. to top it off, our waiter, in trying to squeeze through our section of tables, managed to spill a couple of ounces of whatever mixed alcoholic drink down my right shoulder. spent the next 10 minutes trying to sop up the mess on my shirt with a napkin. didn't even bother to mention it to him as he never came back until it was time to give us our check... of which it took about 15 minutes for him to bring back our credit card so we could leave. we gave it a try but will not be back because of our experience. and knowing that this place also owns ben 112 just a few doors down, we won't go there as well. we had a much better experience a month ago at riviera's across the street. now that was goodfoodand atmosphere.

exceptionalfoodand service !. having eaten in all the upscale restaurants in the area, we have finally found the best place for steaks - bar none.
everything we have tried has been wonderful! wish i knew where they bought their steaks as i have never eaten a better one anywhere !

strip club 104. never thought i would ever say this, but i love the strip club!

my husband and i wanted to go out for a nice dinner. when we heard of a new restaurant opening in down town greer, we were so excited.

they did not disappoint us, the service was impeccable and thefoodwas phenomenal. the rice and noodle side dish that they offer was not only very tasty but was presented in a unique and creative manner. our plates were a work of art to say the least. there are two different plate sizes to choose from, one is an entree the other is an appetizer. the appetizer size was enough to fill me up.

our server greeted us with a smile and politely informed us of all the evening specials. when ourfoodarrived it was hot and delicious! the atmosphere, service and quality of thefoodwas well worth the money spent.

i would defiantly go back. i can not wait for my next dinner there!

i was in the strip club steakhouse and i thought thefoodwas phenomenal. i had calamari as an appetizer it was fabulous. i also had a steak it was delicious honestly best i ever had. the service was great the manager was friendly and we loved the waitress. i highly recommend this place. i am from durham, north carolina and me and my husband will definitely be back.

love love!!!. i love the atmosphere and thefoodwas great especilly the kansas city steak,i'm from indiana and i will visit again for sure!!!! and the manager came to our table he was so friendly asking us how everything was.if ever visit you have to go there!!!!!!!
