the spice tree - doubletree by hilton dubai m square hotel & residences

we went for business lunch over here yesterday with around 10 to 12 colleagues. to cut long story short- it took more than an hour to serve the food for all of our colleagues and the worst part is when we gave them the feedback about the same the waiter bluntly told us thatgoodfood requires time. i mean seriously.... i have not heard anything like this in my 10 years of staying in dubai from any restaurant. thanks for that.

it was an amazing new year eve at the spice tree at double tree by hilton dubai m square.
i was there with my family and it was a right decision to go there for new year dinner.

amazing family dinner time at the spice tree at the double tree hilton at mankhool. tried all their amazing dishes from gaulati kebab, aghani murg, chicken tikka as starters. all of them were amazing especially the galauti kebebs. also tried their chicken momos and wing money pot, both were verygoodtoo. for main course, tried their sikenderi raan, paneer tikka masala with garlic and cheese naan and finally finished up with their biryani. everything was very good. the huge place was empty and there were only a few waiters around but the chef came and gave us verygoodrecommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed.

ejoyeddd food varieties plus taste n atmosphere. business lunch kabab variations.and via lucknow platter...excellent.. this evening again went for our fav.place for cappuccino n momos butter chicken momos is unique so delicious taste never had before any where ..loved amazing perfect tasty momos...n my fav. italian cappuccino perfect cup of ...supervisor lady at reception who served us ngood spoken ...good staff ..

a gorgeous property right in the heart of the city and an iftar spread where there's something for everyone. even on a very busy evening, the staff are serving everyone with the essential gear to maintain hygiene and proper distancing.

the spice tree is an indian restaurant in the hotel and the iftar buffet unlike the regular ones not only has the salads, mezze and traditional arabic dishes but also agoodspread of indian spiced kebabs, fresh breads from the tandoor and also some indian mains. there is also a huge selection from international cuisines.

chef gautam sethi, the main man behind the scenes is personally there to ensure everything is smooth sailing. his secret recipe of the bread dough kept the bread soft and fresh even after some time of it being ready. the spices are perfect and would suit any palate.

chef gayan, the pastry chef again is personally there to serve his choice of some unique and brilliant desserts. the honey pecan pie was just one of his many specialists - the taste of which still lingers in my mouth.

my verdict - this iftar is not the regular one and the crowd did confirm this.
