awful time. went when it was dead with a small group (10 or so people and 3 kids). it took them 2 hours to bring us our over-priced food. then two of my groups by and spicy chicken (which is fried) was raw in the middle. my pork sandwich was bland and cold and the bbq sauce is extremely vinegary... wouldn't go back if they paid me.

...we headed over to the row for a southern feast. since we had guests in town, we had to introduce them to fried food galore. pickles anyone?

delicious burger & good whiskey. i went here with my two friends for dinner and we were all impressed. the selection of whiskey was fantastic. i had the row burger with pimento cheese and a fried green tomato. it was awesome! i highly recommend.

the interior speaks to the country music theme and in a tasteful and comfortable way. large banquettes give the place the feel of a supper club designed for the tv show “nashville.” the space has had several incarnations, including eating and drinking spots for nashville songwriters, thus the inspiration for the name. the cavernous enclosed patio has wide doors for nicer weather. if location and design are positives for the crowd they seem to be trying to reach, the food is a mixed bag in execution right now. we’re hoping that can change. the row features a southern bar-style menu including barbecue. pulled pork has a good smoke and yet comes a little dried out. the slaw on top of the sandwich and a variety of barbecue sauces, including a classic tennessee vinegar base, help

today was our first trip to the row. our meal was so wonderful it inspired me to create an urban spoon acct just to let all of you know how good it was. we ate like little pigs for lunch simply because there was so many things we wanted to try. all the staff were awesome. very attentive and interested in what we thought of our meal. thumbs up to the chef. we will definitely be back with friends and family.

as downtown nashville has exploded and vibrancy has spread to nearby midtown, many new restaurants and businesses have found their way into the city’s core.

my husband declared the fried catfish at the row to be the best he’s ever had...he’s 63 years old and was raised in the south so he knows what he’s talking about. tender white catfish is deep fried in a perfectly crispy cornmeal batter with a side of crunchy okra, heaven! we also had the shrimp and grits, loaded with plump shrimp and flavorful andouille sausage. don’t miss the margarita, a new twist on an old favorite and the cumberland cucumber, a refreshing summer cocktail. waitstaff is friendly and efficient. we enjoyed live music on the patio at the community tables, a great way to meet the locals.

had a good lunch there last friday. fun atmosphere could defenitly do some drinkn and listen to a live band. food prices a little high but the burgers and brisket tacos at the restraunt were mighty tasty

we was in the area today, and my wife searched, and found the place. my wife, 2 teenage children, and i loved it. we had an awesome waiter that knew his food, and was nice to talk with. great place, and will be going back in december when i am sent to nashville for training for my work.

fast service, great food that is actually cooked to order from scratch, great live music and atmosphere! get the fried green tomatoes and chicken fried chicken.

my husband and i went to the row last night to listen to live music. we had the bacon queso and tennessee hot chicken with mashed potatoes. it was all very tasty. the potatoes were a little cold but still good. music was awesome! great experience.

great setting with live music, the food was great. i would suggest getting the mac n cheese as a side. great selection of local micro beers. be sure and get there before six to take advantage of their happy hour.

good craft beer draft selection. cool atmosphere. was honestly not expecting as good of a food experience as it felt at first it was going to be more show. i had their hot chicken on corn cakes with cole slaw and it was very good. also had the kale salad which was very fresh and a good mix of bitter and sweet. recommend this place.

good food and friendly staff. the mac n cheese was the best i've had anywhere. the shrimp and grits was also a tasty dish. live music in the bar was a great addition.
