three for a "dog" lunch... you know, a hotdogcraving that overcomes you and usually results in a disappointing "why did i eat that" aftermath. this place really scored high on my "pooch list". 100% beef brisket dogs with no added fillers. locally sourced ingredients, fresh bread products, a great beer selection, and friendly service (special thanks to our server, seaglen). the murray morgan bridge brat and the tideflats were of special note and warrant a repeat visit our next trip to "the land of clouds". strongly recommend.

my wife wanted to stop here for the vegan hot dogs. my wife got the nature boy and i got the north end not dog. the nature boy had beans in it, which i regret not getting, but the north end notdoghad lil chilies that had good flavor and spice. also, ordered the rainy daze ipa...a little too malty for me, but ordering during happy hour didn't make me regret it that much. will be coming back.

easy food menu with an amazing draft/cider selection. cool vibe, although somewhat hipster, 21 and over only. great place for a hotdogand beer with a kick.

the menu has many, many different styles of hot dogs to choose from: classics such as a chicago-style (mustard, relish, onion, peppers and a pickle spear) they call the tacoma, a new york classic the coney (mustard, meat chili and onion) and even a version of the infamous seattle-style (cream cheese, grilled onion, mustard), but they call it the 6th ave strut and use fresh, not grilled onions. they have sausage and vegetarian options as well as the standard hot dogs to choose from. they also have an imaginative streak and have many unusual and creative items on the menu: the tideflats ( two dogs, open-faced with mustard, ketchup, relish, onions, peppers, jalapenos, kraut, chili, slaw and nacho cheese - whew!) which isn't for the faint of heart and today's much simpler, but no less creative, selection, the hosmer hound dog.

even though it's unusual, it's a very basic hotdog- a poppy seed bun, smeared with peanut butter, a hotdogand two strips of bacon. i couldn't really wrap my

didn't even get to try the food because they wouldn't let our two and four year olds, restrained in a wheelchair and stroller into the establishment at noon. note to red hot. you are a hotdogestablishment. even if you wanna be a bar at night you should broaden your horizons for families.

great dogs. red hot has great dogs and excellent beers. i have no problem with the service or the people, i think they are great. if it is really packed then maybe service slows. that is not the servers problem. this is a great hotdogtavern it is not el gaucho or canlis. service is much better than lots of taverns, in fact most.

what a dissapointment! it's a great concept. we were craving a great hotdogand didn't get it. in saying that the actual flavor of the beef in the hotdogwas good, but very skimpy on the toppings. same with the nachos. this place came recomended and it was nothing but a disappointment! not to mention the waiter "joe" who's only statement when we told how bad it was, only said well "i didn't cook it, so it's not my fault". if you are really craving a good hotdogthen head to portland oregon to a small place called roakes, foot long coney islands. we have been known to make a 6 hour round trip drive for their coney's.
