they had the best steak diane in the city...sad to see it's not on the menu any longer.  still a great dinner/lunch location for great food andlivemusic.  right in the heart of the city but not too much into the clutter of downtown.

this place is fantastic. it is the snug little jazz joint with great seating and plentiful drinks. always a wide crowd from musicians to suburbanites. the place is very easy to find from the highway and parking is close.livemusic and/or good music every night. definite "go".

originally fantastic!!!!!! the phoenix is simply a blast! the menu contains a variety for all tastes, greatlivemusic every night, awesome happy hour, and an amazing, friendly staff!! if you're looking for a place to bring friends, especially out-of-towners, the phoenix is it!

love this place. great place forlivemusic and the happy hour can't be beat! very diverse crowd and everyone is so friendly. perfect place to bring friends from out of town to get a taste of kc nightlife! definately one of my favorite bars for food, drinks, and fun!

a definite must. the phoenix is an incredible spot for food, drinks andlivemusic! it is my new favorite bar of choice. not only is the service fantastic, the phoenix offers a great host oflivejazz and blues bands, from classic to contemporary. they have more artists per week then any other jazz/blues club in the city-solid and new talent each week. you've got to check them out!

go to the phoenix jazz club!. the phoenix is a great place to have drinks after work or on the weekend. they havelivemusic, happy hour specials, and delicious food served fast. it is located in a beautiful historical building that provides a great atmosphere!

fantastic. hands down, phoenix jazz club is top destination for fun, great food, and bestlivemusic in town! historic, quaint, one-of-a-kind.... you've got to check them out for sure!
