the park grill

theservicewas questionable at best. i ordered the mountain cut 16oz ribeye. wow it was very over salted!!!! another member of our party ordered the new york strip, it was over salted as well and our fillet was burnt. do not waste your time!!!!!

overpriced. for this price point they should not have a salad bar. the prime rib was good, but not seasoned. they made up for the lack of salt on the strip steak and medium rare came out rare. skip the "premium" sides, the mac and cheese was stouffer's with some bacon mixed in and the onion rings are straight out of the freezer bag. theservicewas pretty lackluster considering you can't get out of there for much under $40 a head. with all the choices in the area, skip this "wonderful" experience!

good but overpriced. it has been a few years since our last visit, which we thoroughly enjoyed, but we were somewhat disappointed this time. theservicecouldn't be better, but the food is overpriced, especially the salad bar. there should at least be a few more side salads and a soup offered on the bar, not just potato salad. also, when ordering a steak, the salad bar should be included, not an extra $4.99. we weren't fond of the new décor either.

wonderful!. this is one of our favorite restaurants in gatlinburg. we've been several times and have not been disappointed. the only complaint is parking. the salad bar is very good, as are the entrees. try the dessert sampler - you won't be sorry. the decor is very fitting for the area. on one occassion, we had the pleasure of sitting next to the pianist, which was a great way to enjoy a romantic evening.

what happened?. it's been a few years since i've eaten at the park grill. they have a new sign and logo. also, they have undergone some kind of "mod" remodeling job which seems out of place for the building and for the area. they should have left well enough alone. the black and white themes along with the new light fixtures do not mix well with this beautiful log building.
moving on to the food... i had the salad bar and was generally impressed with all items i tried (and i tried many of them). the basil vinaigrette dressing was excellent! you should try it for sure if they have it available. bread was ok - plain rolls. our waitress was nice, but not very attentive - no water refills.
the prices have gone up substantially in the last three years. although i cannot remember prices with precision, it seems that some items may have doubled. from what i saw tonight, the quality andservicehave not kept pace.

ate here two nights in a row. the food was great, theservicewas attentive, and rich, the bartender, not only makes great cocktails, but also puts on a show.

this place was awsome. the salad bar had everything you could ever want on a salad. our steaks were juciy, very flavorful and cooked perfect. theserviceat this restaurant was excellent. the piano being played during dinner was a nice addition to and excellent dining experience.

we ate here ab out one year ago and it was good even for $$$$ cost. but our vist this time was a disappointment, the spinich was thick and stringy and the salad bar was not as fresh or as big a selection.servicewas excellent!!!

one of the best in gatlinburg!. we love the park grill. it is one of the nicest places in town to get a great meal at decent prices. it is a place i would recommend for a "nice" dinner out. my favorite dish here is the moonshine chicken. it is kind of sweet and super juicy. my husband loves their prime rib and the sweet potatoes. their fries are pretty good too. their huge salad bar is included with your meal. plus the hot fresh rolls served with dinner are delcious. we have never had a bad meal here. theservicehas always been fast & super friendly. they even let me make my own combo last time i visited--super accomodating! they do have a live pianist (requests taken), so that adds a hint of romance. the decor is nice, but kind of woodsy. it is done in wood tones and there are stuffed animals throughout (bear, raccoon, etc). i can't say enough. this place is great. it will continue to be one of our must visits when we are in town!!

this is always our favorite eating out treat in gatlinburg. not cheap but the food andserviceare outstanding.

very nice restaurant. this place has really grown on me. excellent salad bar, great food and atmosphere. i can't go here without getting a steak.serviceis always friendly and courteous. many of the employees have been with this group for years. it's a little pricey, but worth it, especially for a special occasion. try to save room for dessert.
