crusted fish (php325)
mango juice (php105)
they had this nice outdoor dining area with vines and garden vibes. i noticed that theirmenuis like a collab from various restos. like best of the best or something similar. the crusted fish i ordered was similar to italianni’s’ parmesan crusted fish fillet. they do offer extensive choices of different cuisines. staff were nice.

was happily surprised by the meal we had here. theirmenuis quite extensive. they serve breakfast meals (from all over the world) all day aside from the delicious-looking mains. on our table: arabic breakfast- shakshouka, toasted pita and hummus. delicious, although the hummus lacked the authentic flavor i was looking for.; bibimbap bowl wih chicken fingers, fried egg and gojuchang- spicy & tasty. a little more veggies would put this dish up there with the best ; adobo flakes- omg, to die for! chicken strips are crispy, flavorful; smoked beef tapa- tender and full- flavored; tomato soup- generous serving with fresh cream and panini bread. for dessert- campfire. s'motes in a jar. with a hint of cinnamon. moist, balanced, perfect. what a joy to see my kids eat with such gusto! looking forward to visiting their alabang branch and taking the whole extended fam soon❤️

while looking for where to have lunch on a rainy sunday, we chanced upon the morning after. we checked themenulist outside and decided to give it a try. food was good. i just find the pumpkin soup very sweet. other than that, the experience was great. we were surprised at the serving size as it looks good enough for sharing. staff were very pleasant and attentive to our needs. we will definitely be back to try the other interesting dishes on their menu. @iamthemarkster.
what we ordered:
1. roasted pumpkin soup
2. mushroom adobo
3. sausage and mushroom risotto
4. luzviminda (tapa, tocino, longganisa, bangus, pickled cucumber, 2 eggs & garlic rice)

we just randomly picked a place where to eat a dessert and we chose the morning after basing on the reviews we heard and read.
i ordered campfire(their version of s'mores) my friends ordered ultimate choco chip and choco coffee.
the people there are very friendly, they even introduced themselves.
there's a lot of good food in themenuand it's hard to choose.
campfire- i am really a fan of s'mores but then i can only eat it if there's a special occasions... when i saw it on themenuha! i know what to order. its not what i expected, it's sooo out of this world (exaggerated, pero ang sarap kasi talaga) to the point na i was eating and my friends want to dip there spoon and they're like envying my campfire food 😭 i let them taste it of course... recommended 👌🏻

the morning after is an all day breakfast place in laguna that reminds me of early bird breakfast club.  we appreciated that their extensivemenuhad lovely photos too.  we were having early dinner and we had a heavy buffet lunch so we were staying away from rice.

on the table
🔹longganisa burger - this burger wowed hubby.  it was a real mess to eat and i was able to get a few bites.  the burger was very juicy and seasoned well.
🔹crispy chicken fingers and waffles - i could really feel and taste the breading of the chicken.  nakakasawa siya.  the waffles were nothing special but i loved how they presented the butter and the sauces.
🔹campfire - this was extremely heavy and rich and is best shared with others.  nakakaumay siya if you will eat it by yourself.  the layers of the dessert weren't as distinct as that in themenuphoto.

the only thing i would go back for is the longganisa burger.  they have other interesting dishes that i would like to try if i were in the area.

the morning after is a nice, country style, all day breakast place in solenad. themenuwas diverse, multiple country breakfast concept that serve coffees and desserts. its a perfect place for vacationing family from manila that just wants to hangout in nuvali area or on thier way to tagaytay.

for our snacks, we had churros and latte.

churros has a nice crisp outside crust with a soft, chewy texture from the inside. it was served with 2 dips, chocolate and strawberry syrup. i like both dip and it was in the right intensity of sweetness. i prefer the strawberry that gives it a subtle berry-fruitiness but more on the sweet side.

cafe latte was just right. a balance of milk and coffee that isn't too milky.

i'll update this review once i comeback to the morning after to try other breakfast favorites.

the bf and i wanted to try a new restaurant when we went to solenad in nuvali. themenuof the restaurant lured us in. we tried the best sellers, luzviminda almusal and truffle shiitake mushroom, and the breakfast maki. tbh the dish i liked the most was the breakfast maki. it was something new to my tastebuds. a bit spicy but sweet at the same time. a must try for me. i ordered the truffle shiitake mushroom but i didn't like it that much. it was too bland for me. the bf ordered the luzviminda almusal. it was good as much as breakfast food is always a good idea ❤️

tired from shooting in up los banos for our project and also gearing up for a few hours of wakeboarding, we were in bad need of a nice late lunch. we saw themenufor morning after and quickly decided to dine here.

but maybe, just maybe, we should've just stuck to something familiar. 'cause, boy, we were disappointed. :(

for starters, we ordered 2 salads (greek salad and chinese chicken salad with red chili peanut dressing) for sharing. the flavors were good and all, but it was overpriced with the amount that was given (almost good enough for 1 person).

out of our 8 single served dishes, only 3 were satisfied (they had the homemade boneless bangus, beef salpicao, and tapa). but for the rest of us (myself included), damn.

let's start off with my "the club" sandwich. beautifully plated on a wooden chopping board. appreciate how filling it was, but the chicken alone? flat. like cardboard. sad really. same goes with my 3 guy friends who ordered the full english breakfast. equally wonderful plating like my club sandwich, but it was far from filling. those guys were still hungry :)) and to think that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. lastly, my friend ordered the sausage and mushroom risotto since she was craving for something creamy. and believe me, it was. it would have been the best dish there, except the rice was still chewy. like half cooked rice. immediately, she called the attention of the waitress to say it might be under-cooked. when the waitress came back, she was instructed to tell us by the chef that the rice they used was italian arborio and that it was the way it's suppose to taste. but they still promised they'd cook it more to her liking of softer rice. but i still couldn't believe what i heard, but since i wasn't very familiar with the type of rice, i didn't say anything. but we've (yes, the same group of people) had risotto before at mama lou's and it was nothing like the one we've had here.

in general, this place serves beautifully plated dishes with unmemorable flavors (with a mishap in one of our dishes) priced to the extreme. don't get us wrong, we're willing to shell out, but the food also has to be on par with it.
