i have a hate and love feeling about this place , second time there . the staff are very slow , you wait a very long time to get serviced and when you ask for your bill , that’s another long long wait

evening meal with friends

a very nice meal with friends on a friday evening, the place was quite busy but the service and the staff where very good and helpful with a few suggestions on lovely desserts

this pub is quite large so has several good seating areas indoors but the best bit is the amount of space they have to sit outside in the summer. they also have an outdoor bar (this is only open in peak times though) which is great for an evening summer time drink. i've had sunday lunch here which was good and i've also made good use of their pizza oven which was delicious!

it's a regular visit for me and friends. the only downsides are that some drinks are slightly on the expensive side and service can be a little slow sometimes but this never stops me coming back because everything else is great.

the toilets are also nice and clean which i think reflects quite well on the place as a whole.

excellent food. i had the sloppy joe at the direction of our great waiter, mike d. it was so giant! i had to take half home. excellent cole slaw. we had the salmon, which was "delicious" especially the balsamic, cooked to perfection. last item was grilled cheese, which was great. all and all excellent...also by look at the wait at the door, a very popular place. made a reservation and came right in!

i really enjoy this place. it is a little expensive but you can drink an amazing morning coffee, everyday. at the afternoon, you can drink different draft beers in its cozy bar. higlhy recommended!

happy hour in the bar is a deal that you can't beat.  the time from 5-7 is perfect for after work / dinner.  the food is always excellent and the bar tenders are attentive and friendly.

my favorite!. great service, great food , generous portions and reasonably priced. my first choice when dining with my husband and grandson. happy to see you are adding turkey burgers. keep up your high standards.

best place. food is great and wonderfully abundant! drinks are generous, prices are fair, service is quick and with a smile. you can't beat this place!

always a great meal!!. my fiance and i discovered the metropolitan about a year ago and it has now become one of our favorite places to eat! we stop by at least two weekends a month for breakfast--the coffee is great, and the bread/rolls are always so fresh! the menu is pretty extensive and there is something for everyone--my fiance loves the breakfast all day and i'm a sucker for the turkey club..the mayo is awesome! be sure to try this place out!!

very impressive!. my husband i are not from the area, however, we looked online for a place to eat breakfast on sunday 2/15/2015. they had very good reviews and the restaurant looked like a nice place. we were impressed from walking in the door. it was a warm inviting atmosphere. the hostess was very polite, the server was great and attentive. the food was wow! it was fresh, and both meals were very large portions, i personally enjoyed the coffee....the best ever at a restaurant! well worth the money in every regard. we had a brief chay with the manager and she was very nice as well. we decided that if we come anywhere near to north wales in the future this would be a place to go out of the way for. we absolutely give this restaurant 5 stars!

excellent burgers. great variety, wife can have breakfast all day, and i can have one of the best burgers around. diner is salmon for her & steak for me, both cooked to perfection served by a very professional wait staff.

mrs.. my husband and i were very pleased with metro. my husband had meatloaf which he loved, great presentation. i had a turkey club which was very good. nice tomatoes, bread, all ingredients very fresh. turkey was delicious, real turkey.
shared creme brulee which was huge and delicious. we are definitely going back.

one of my faves in the area!. i love the metropolitan! great service, delicious and fresh food, good healthy eats and a fun place to be, great seating, lots of booths, pretty atmosphere! going tonight!!! taking my granddaughter and the hubby!!!

yum. what's not to like. wonderful, creative food selections for all appetites and a great happy hour. the rewards program not only gains you discounts but you get discount coupons in the mail. all of the staff is friendly and efficient. love at first bite!!
