we drove in from lafayette, and this place exceeded our expectations. we had the fish and pork tacos, which were very good. the place itself has a very sophisticated decor, and a very nice outdoor patio for when the weather is nice, good for outdoor seating. would definitely recommend, and we will be back.

good food and good service but pricey. buffet costs $25pp. i'll admit its a better than average buffet but i don't think it's worth that. the dining room is also very noisy. my wife and i couldn't hold conversation over our dinner due to the nose level. doubt we'll be going back.

oh em geeeeezus!. discovered this place (which is less than five minutes away from my house) when friends kept checking in on fb. it is truly a hidden gem...gorgeous inside and out! we were seated on the patio...the special was prime rib and just to prove my theory right, i picked up my teaspoon and cut into it! my husband, 4 kids, and i all ate and had dessert for $80...i kid you not! run to this place...asap!

give it a try. we enjoyed our first visit. my wife and i got the buffet and others ordered off of the menu. the buffet was ok for $25 and the food off of the menu looked ok. our waitress was very nice and attentive. we will be back.

excellent. it is always a struggle to find decent étoufée...even in south louisiana. perhaps i'm biased because it is something that is so simple it should always be done right, but i'm happy to report the search is finished.

i do not eat buffets, but the smell when we walked in dictated trying the buffet was a must.

it did not disappoint. everything was excellent. smothered cabbage, catfish stew, fried shrimp, crawfish étoufée over drum, stuffed catfish...all of it was extraordinary. perfectly executed home cooking.

we will definitely be back.

also, it was our server's first night. she was attentive, sweet, did not touch the tea pitcher to my glass when pouring tea, and was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. to the owner of the restaurant. she is definitely a keeper.

this little gem was worth the hour drive.

my last meal. well poke me with a fork because i am done. we dined at a true gem last evening. my kevin poboy will be on list when i decide my last meal. the italian creme cake is a fab-u-lus dessert that really put an exclamation point to our meal. our server, krystal was very friendly and attentive as well. if you are ever in arnaudville this should be your stop but if your not in arnaudville the little big cup is worth a trip.

what a wonderful "destination" restaurant!
we arrived early saturday evening. the restaurant was packed!
the rather small dining room gives way to a much larger more formal room (that will soon open to expand to what appears to more than double the current capacity...also added an unbelievable expansive deck over bayou fuselier).
now, on to the food.
i ordered crab cakes...i have to say...they were outstanding...even though they were a little cold.
my husband ordered a burger and fries. he said the burger was good and the fries were outstanding ( fresh cut) yum!
the service was lacking and they were out of one of their featured specials at only six thirty!
though the service could be better, the overall experience will bring us back to the quaint town of arnaudville, and to this hidden gem that is being talked about all over southern louisiana!

fish tacos. hooked on the fish tacos. this is a hidden gem in arnaudville. thank you for opening as the choices are very slim when it comes to finding a place to eat. dessert always delicious. oh and the oyster poboy - omg it was the best. 6 huge oysters on 1/2 a poboy. lafayette poboys i have never gotten 6 huge oysters. ( don't order oyster poboy at logans honey baked on johnston )
