amidst the multitude of offerings that have come up in the city recently, its very natural for the modern diners to have difficulty picking places apart from the seemingly indistinguishable assortment. while its hard for the patrons, its equally disheartening for the restaurateurs for not being able to lend their establishment a sense of individuality. and that's exactly why as we go along today, we see numerous new concepts and themes hitting the market, ensuring that this little something eventually becomes a massive crowd puller. the lal street bar exchange is yet another stellar example who taking inspiration from our frenzy stock markets, is trying to revamp the game of selling liquor in form of fluctuating costs.
a concept that has been immensely popular with major cities like bangalore and mumbai, the place has finally brought the same to the city of nizams where the prices rise asdrinksbecome more popular whereas precipitously fall as they lose public interest - something that really keeps your excitement kicking all through! and pairing the amazing set of bar offerings is their stunning grub menu which sports an array of bar snacks, appetizers and plenty great mains. starting my course was a serving of their crispy fried pepper prawns and mutton seekh kebab both of which were definitely my favourites for the night. miryala mamsam vepudu was yet another regional stunner with a generous portion of meat and that delectable peppery kick.
the mains again had some lovely options lined where i went in for their mutton roganjosh and jhinga kalimirch along with some indian breads and a portion of their grilled fish from the continental menu. out of both the indian curries, my personal favourite surely was their roganjosh which was quite an apt rendition of the kashmiri delight. flavours of ginger and fennel powering through every bite, the gravy was just as subtle and light as it should authentically be. even the grilled fish was one of its kind having a paprika rubbed fish fillet served on a bed of fresh, grilled veggies and some herb rice. the only disappointment came with their meat feast pizza which neither had a good crust, nor did it do justice to its name with the toppings.
the desserts were a saving grace surely with the evergreen combo of brownie with ice cream. while the same didn't offer anything spectacular to ride home about, the dish did managed to eventually end the overall meal on a high. and serving the diners with a pleasing smile, the staff here at the lal street was as polite and warm as they come and truly knew how to treat the customers right. bearing great caution in the new normal, the restaurant is proudly maintaining all hygiene standards from the kitchen to the dining halls, prioritizing the safety of their patrons. all in all, with an astonishing concept in play along with a delectable grub menu, the place really offers an amazing experience to let loose which definitely deserves a visit!
