the lal street - bar exchange

ambience is awesome. food is tasty, prawns are awesome. service is not that impressive

the staff are ill informed, did not know about thisr mocktails and the waiter was very rude and had a brutish attitude

this is my 3rd time at lal street. i recommended and forced my friends to go here. even though friday night is a bollywood night, they didn't play a single hindi song. we have done the reservation for 4 boys and 3 girls. at the time of reservation, they didn't say anything about stag charges even after enquiring about it. after reaching the place they were asking for 1500 stag charges. and the reason the manager gave us is so stupid and silly. since a person is not wearing shoes we will charge 1500. what kind of a dumb logic is that. he made us wait for 10 and it took a lot of convincing and he finally let us in.
after this bad experience, i didn't want to pay service charge and the manager was still arguing as i had zomato pro. unbelievable.
coming back to food, we have ordered all kinds of mocktails and starters

wrong item delivered

firstly they don't provide regular drinking water and they want to charge 50₹ for packaged bottle. we had ordered chinese bhel and soda. the bhel was full of green chillies which usually isn't the preparation. the lime soda we had ordered - the entire fizz was gone. apparently they had used an already open bottle of soda. wouldn't recommend a visit..it's a waste of money and time

worst and pathetic place to visit, ever ever ever try to visit. you may need to change your plan after visiting them at the door they will stop you and ask stupid and and deny your entry. better to avoid if you just want to chill and have fun party around there are n number of pubs around hyd you can just chill

delayed more than 1 hour

i used to recommend my friends to go to lal street but after my last experience i strongly suggest not to go to this bar. even if it is mentioned in zomato that pro is there for this bar the manager refused us that we don't have pro. when we showed him in the app he says we don't agree to that app. after lot of discussion he then agreed that we have.
such kind of behavior from lal street staff is not all appreciated.

everything was good except the staff. we entered in happy hours and to attend a call i came out. once i am done with the call when i want to go inside, the staff who were outside were not allowing me. they asked me to pay entry fees. i never seen a place like this with this kind of rules. finally a guy who is managing allowed me inside.

even after reservations they didn’t give us any seats. even when the tables were getting empty they didn’t. the drink was also not up to the mark.

the ambience was really lively. however, the choice of music could have been better.
had ordered chicken peri peri wings, a blue lagoon and other mocktails along with a few other drinks.
although the peri peri wings tasted great, the amount of spices was pathetically high. my friends had started crying halfway through the meal.

overall, an otherwise good experience. would recommend.

i did not know about this place as i have not seen their publicity anywhere. the bar is located inside a mall in gachibowli and we just casually dropped in and it was neither so good nor so bad. a decent enough pub like atmosphere with a very good dj, not sure if he was in-house. ordered fried rice and pasta. pasta was a fail, but the fried rice tasted decent.

service was excellent. tapus served us in a perfect way

the ambiance is all good. service provided by the team is awful. ms. rani served with perfect patience. i would definitely suggest this place to my fellow beings

the quality and taste is great but the quantity of grilled paneer is below satisfactory for the rate charged
