unbelievably awesome chicken sandwich!. my son and i recently took the train back home to nh from nj and we had a 3 hour layover at the north station. i had looked up possible places to have lunch to kill time while on the train and came up with 3 that were close to north station. to my dismay, the first 2 were closed at 2pm on a saturday! as it turns out, that was the best thing that could have happened because my 3rd choice was open - the fours on canal st. the service was excellent and we had plenty of room in our booth for all the luggage. i remember vaguely that my son got the fettuccini alfredo. i would normally have asked for a bite but my senses were completely overtaken by what was by far the best chicken sandwich i ever had. i ordered the doug flutie: fried chicken breast with melted mozzarella cheese, buffalosauce, lettuce & tomato on a roll. it was the most tender and delicious sandwich and i enjoyed every single bite. the fries were extremely tasty as well but that sandwich . . . wow. i am afraid to order any chicken sandwich anywhere else now because i know i will be disappointed and i am looking for an excuse to get back on the noreaster to boston so i can go back to the fours. outstanding!

the fours [right across from td garden] i decided to join in on the playoff festivities in enemy territory. nope, did not get jumped while wearing my vancouver shirt. the dip: blend of artichokes, spinach, roasted red peppers, gruyère and mozzarella. baked and served with pita chips. the pita chips are thick and the dip is a mild compliment to the following nachos.buffalochicken nachos: tortilla chips baked with tomatoes, scallions, mozzarella, topped with diced fried chicken andbuffalosauce. this is a great spin on nachos. thebuffalosauce is pretty spicy. game 3 in boston. vancouver fans gather at the fours, thanks to a facebook group organized by canuck fans in boston. veal parmigiana: breaded veal cutlets topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella, served over linguine. very delicious. full menu served at the bar. pretty cheap for the large amount of food that they serve. it makes sense that tipping in the states is greater because of how cheap the food is. the staff were pretty
