unbelievably awesome chicken sandwich!. my son and i recently took the train back home to nh from nj and we had a 3 hour layover at the north station. i had looked up possible places to have lunch to kill time while on the train and came up with 3 that were close to north station. to my dismay, the first 2 were closed at 2pm on a saturday! as it turns out, that was the best thing that could have happened because my 3rd choice was open - the fours on canal st. the service was excellent and we had plenty of room in our booth for all the luggage. i remember vaguely that my son got the fettuccini alfredo. i would normally have asked for a bite but my senses were completely overtaken by what was by far the best chicken sandwich i ever had. i ordered the doug flutie: fried chicken breast with melted mozzarella cheese, buffalo sauce, lettuce & tomato on a roll. it was the most tender and delicious sandwich and i enjoyed every single bite. the fries were extremely tasty as well but that sandwich . . . wow. i am afraid to order any chicken sandwich anywhere else now because i know i will be disappointed and i am looking for an excuse to get back on the noreaster tobostonso i can go back to the fours. outstanding!
