the flying saucer draught emporium

pretty coolplaceto go. it was a bit intimidating the first couple times i went. it seemed like everybody, staff and customers, knew each other. i felt like an outsider. i guess i continued to go back because i thought the "cheers" like atmosphere was a good thing. sure enough, only after a few visits servers were calling me by name and i had met some interesting bar customers. overall it's a niceplaceto grab a few beers after work. the selection of beer is great, the servers are very friendly, most are in college and intelligent, and while they wear a mini skirt it is paired with a chill saucer logo t-shirt.... far from skanky. and considering it is a bar, the food is ok too- but honestly who goes to a bar to get amazing food.

great beer collection, and coolplaceto hangout! feels lively. you can have your plate of honor hung up for every 200-250 beers you drink. aplacewhere our profs reward our lab cleaning efforts ;)

this is a cool place! we stopped in here after going to another store in the same shopping center. my buddy dave and i popped in here for a pint while his wife went to another store.

theplacehas a great design with saucers all over the ceiling. each has a name however i didn't bother to ask about them. we ordered our drinks and and took a look around. the ceiling and and is very dark inside and there are several large mirrors on the walls. also if you go to the back and and around the corner there's a large back dining area. the first thing that came to mind was "this would a greatplacefor a mob hit! i need to sit back here!".

while we were enjoying our beers i took a look over the menu. there's a lot of cool looking dishes on here, and some i would say are eclectic. i wish we could have stayed to eat, definitely next time.

last but not least, service was great. i didn't catch our bartenders name but she was super friendly and helpful and definitely a credit to the place. kudos!

wide variety of beer. best days to come are sundays or mondays. the food is okay. you can't go wrong with the rocket tots or the wings. greatplaceto relax and good beer.

awesome. the flying saucer is my favoriteplaceto go after work to get a drink and meal. they have so many awesome things on the menu you don't see anywhere else. i really like the lauren's goat cheese salad. also the beer selection is huge and awesome. they carry seasonal thing and add new stuff every week. great choice if you what you are looking for is a laid back atosphere, awesome beer, and great food!

i'm torn here. the beer selection is fantastic. the servers are all hot college girls, is this good or bad, you make a guess. the food is simple pub fare. they insisted that we try the pizza. yuk! the worse. this is a greatplaceto catch a game, but that is about it.

good bar for when you feel like throwing down cash. this bar is great! lots of great beer, all of the food tastes terrific. it costs a lot though. last time i went, i got just two or three beers, and a sandwich, and it cost me over thirty dollars. i did some price checking on the banana bread beer that i ordered for ten dollars, and i found that same bottle sold at the common market for three dollars. so they do get a lot of business, but they take advantage of the demand and upscale the supply cost. definitely don't pass thisplaceup, i'm just saying make sure you have fifty bucks to unload before you decide to come here for a long evening at the saucer.

good things, bad things. there are some good beers, but there are also good beers at total wine... for a fraction of the cost. also i am bothered by the fact that there are special glasses for certain belgian beers but no weizen glass for a hefeweizen. and i thought this was a beer emporium. serve average beer in average glasses and special beer in special glasses. i don't want my beer oxidizing because the glass didn't encourage good head retention! on the other hand, there is a decent atmosphere and the jalapeno cheddar fries are good.

worth a try. its a goodplaceto get local beer.

great selection of beer. if you enjoy beer this is theplaceto go. try the arcobrau dark lager! for bar food the do a great job also, the bratzel is excellent if you like soft pretzels and bratwurst.
