the egg and i

we got into town way too early to check in to our condo. we couldn't find anyplace open for breakfast until we made the fortunate call to the egg and i which was opening at 7:00 a.m. the food was great and the service was too. the owner came to greet us. what a nice man! they have wonderful coffee blends. the greek frittata was the favorite at our table, but there were no complaints about what everyone else ordered. we highly recommend this place. gonna have to comebackfor lunch!

great food! kids loved waffles. waitress didn't have much of a personality but the food made up for it. coffee was exceptional! i would recommend and gobackwhen we are in town again

i have family in panama city beach, and they said that this place is a must. boy, were they right!!! we went for brunch on friday. their coffee is amazing and freshly ground! i had the cajun omelet which was the perfect combination of spicy meat with fresh, cool vegetables. we will be goingbackevery time we are in town!!!

not impressed.... wish i would have read the reviews before visiting... had the "egg-ceptional omelette". it should be renamed "egg(beater)-ceptional omelette", at least that way the expectations are honest. spending $15 on a dine-in breakfast that doesn't compare to most fast-food breakfasts? i won't bebackhere!

not gonna lie, the service kinda took a little while but after we got our order, everything overall went fantastic. the food is incredible. love the ambiance. will definetely beback:)

stopped here because it had a higher review and wanted to try something new. ordered their viva french toast french toast was ok sausage tasteless and eggs tasted like egg beaters. do no comingbackfor me.

they make you feel like a part of the family. yes the food is fantastic, the prices affordable and the dining area is spacious and beautiful however what really sets this restaurant apart from other restaurants is the outstanding service and the personal attention the owners give to each and every one of their guests. i have eaten there no less than six times and each time i have been there i have been greeted by taylor (the owner) and/or his wife kerri. the restaurant is modern, yet when you enter you feel that you have steppedbackto a simpler time, when businesses were owned and operated by individuals instead of corporations. the entire family works there including the children and when you eat there you feel like you are a part of the family. they have created a warm welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to keep coming back. obviously this is communicated to their employees because they are all very pleasant and do there best to provide excellent service. it is nice to eat at a place with great food, excellent service, affordable prices and happy employees, not to mention being treated as if you are doing them a favor by eating there.

delicious!!. last sunday, i took a trip to the fairly new restaurant, the egg & i. it was a great time! (as always) i wanted to send in this review just to recommened one of the best waffles i have ever had! the waffle is a great deal for the size quantity. the meal comes with two turkey sausages, any style eggs, and a scrumptiously sweet, mouth-watering waffle. it is called the sweet potato waffle. it tastes just like a warm pumpkin pie.(: this is a limited time offer. so, come in quick! i will surely be comingbackfor more of this waffle(:

eggcellent!(:. when i stopped by the new breakfast & lunch place i was surprized by the inside! it was larger than i thought.. when i sat down and ordered, the service was very friendly and fast! i ordered the french toast expecting to get a small piece of toast slapped on to a plate but instead it was "eggcellent" & large for the cost under $10.00! i'll definently be commingbackfor some more breakfast & lunch and i'm "eggcited" to try some more foods!(:

so awesome!! best place in pcb to eat! clean and everyone is so nice! yummy food at college kid prices! suggest any omelet or waffle! goingbackfor breakfast everyday!

i decided to venture to the new resturant and i wasn't pleased.the food was cold and the wait staff wasn't nearly as friendly as i had hoped the prices are a bit pricey for the small amount of food you receive, i will gobackto fatty pattys bc they are all around better and the atmosphere there is warm and enlightning, (: and the food is always fresh and hot!!!
