egg-ceptional. after being in pcb since sunday, and having a terrible time finding quality restaurants and food for the price, my husband and i walked into this restaurant with the thought "let's see how it is - this will decide if we go home a day early or not". we were beyond pleasantly surprised with not only their service (beth is awesome), but also the manager/owner, taylor and the food. i had the parisian benedict and my husband had the denver omelette with tomatoes added. both dishes were hot, very tasty and reasonably priced compared to other places (yes, there is a place in pcb that wants visitors to return time and time again). the coffee was good and i thought having a carafe of coffee and additional water was a great touch. the atmosphere was also very nice (and this is coming from two architects) also compared to what we have seen since sunday. we definitely are returning to this restaurant before we leave tomorrow and want to share this with others so they can enjoy this place sooner than we did.

this place is soooooo good. i wish we had one where i live. i had a skillet scramble with ranch potatoes, eggs, ham, bacon, cheese and hollandaise. it was delicious. there is a great variety of dishes, lots of healthy options, under $10.

my wife and i had a fun breakfast experience at the egg and i in panama city on friday may 10, 2013. and after reading some of the reviews we were compelled to add our review of this establishment after our breakfast experience.

we want to say that the service was great with the waitress at our table promptly. she was kind, pleasant, most helpful and efficient, and stopped often asking us if we needed anything.

our breakfast was also served promptly and it was very tasty. i ordered the denver breakfast with grits on the side and my wife ordered an omelet (can't remember which) with grits and we both rated the food as yummy.

and we enjoyed the owner(s) stopping by to chat with us too.

just ate at here with my family. i had the mexican skillet...the eggs were bland and with too much cheese i couldn't eat all of my food. overall i've heard this place is better than another broken egg...in my opinion this place is along the same lines as ihop. not as gourmet as they think

we got into town way too early to check in to our condo. we couldn't find anyplace open for breakfast until we made the fortunate call to the egg and i which was opening at 7:00 a.m. the food was great and the service was too. the owner came to greet us. what a nice man! they have wonderful coffee blends. the greek frittata was the favorite at our table, but there were no complaints about what everyone else ordered. we highly recommend this place. gonna have to come back for lunch!

the best healthiest food i ever had!!!!!. my husband & i ate here two days straight. i had the flapper blueberry pancakes, turkey sausage, and eggs scrambled soft with cheese. he had turkey sausage with the waffle. when i say the pancakes & waffle melts in your mouth i mean that! our food was hot and fresh. they are very friendly people, the place looks very clean & i loved the decorations!!! it was a relaxing atmosphere.

great food(even has avocado toast), good sized portions(depending on what you get) good atmosphere, with great service! it is a little pricey, but within reach of most people and the quality is pretty high. i liked this place!

great with modifications and great prices! my favorite place for breskfast! i always get posched eggs and they are always cooked just right. hazelnut coffee is also yummy!

good quality really fresh food! service is quick and friendly. menu is flexible and full of great breakfast / lunch options. the coffee is the best table coffee at any breakfast restaurant i've been to. i ordered the wisconsin scramble that comes with potatoes and an english muffin. i always get this.....the eggs are so creamy / cheesy and smooth. my wife ordered the athena scramble (potatoes and muffin). they both feature fresh ingredients and you can taste the difference over a corner diner. the manager (taylor) came by our table, was very friendly, and asked how we liked our food. we love this place and can't wait to come back. the egg and i is a great place to start your day.

the food was great for a shopping center food joint. i was absolutely amazed at the amount of food you get for the price. one of the largest waffles i have seen! food tasted good and the staff was great! be hungry when you go!

everything taste like its flavored just right. service is great and fast. hazelnut coffee is delicious! spinach bacon mushroom omelet with hollandaise sauce with the ranch potatoes are to die for! great southern feel and just really really good!

it’s a fateful day when you wake up and realize your trip is over and it’s time to go home. you can cry, wail and gnash your teeth but the fact remains you have to pack the car and leave panama city beach. fortunately, the egg & i was there to ease our pain and get us prepared properly for the trip home (which seemed longer and a whole lot less fun than the trip going to the beach).

great food! kids loved waffles. waitress didn't have much of a personality but the food made up for it. coffee was exceptional! i would recommend and go back when we are in town again

my wife and i stopped in for a quick, quality breakfast. she ordered the two egg breakfast with bacon and grits, and i had the crab cakes benedict. the food was not gourmet, but it was the fast, quality breakfast we were looking for!
