*update*
i’ve been to thisplacemany times now and it is now one of my favourite pubs to go for lunch and dinner! the menu has improved greatly as has the quality of food, i love the lamb shanks and fish and chips, also have a great cocktail menu. the staff are always awesome, my parents love thisplaceso get taken her for many family lunch outings.

love the look and feel of this pub, outdoor area is much bigger than i thought! i came here for lunch with my parents after some of their friends recommend it. my mum and i both ordered the pulled beef tacos and a bowl of wedges to share, and my dad ordered a pie which came with mash and mushy peas. the tacos were okay, but nothing to rave about. i enjoyed the pulled beef but there was definitely not enough flavour, they need to add some kind of salsa. sadly the wedges were a huge let down. the first few i ate tasted fine but then i realised the majority of them were a bit burnt. i felt it was too late to ask for a replacement as i had already eaten some. my dad enjoyed the pie and mash, and was impressed as the portion was huge!! his only complaint was the peas had mint in them which he doesn't like, but he still ate them anyway. after i'd finished eating i ordered a mocha which was really good! the staff were very friendly and came over a few times to offer drinks and ask if everything was okay. i will definitely be coming back to give thisplaceanother chance, as i think they will improve.
