fresh!!. thisplacerocks......want some fresh fish? this is theplaceto go, the crab cakes are unreal!! the atmosphere is like no other!!

the food is delicious, the view is wonderful and the service is super! i've been to the conch house many times, as my folks have aplacein st. augustine, and it's one of their favorite lunch spots. the restaurant overlooks the water, and you can choose to eat indoors looking at the water, or in one of the treehouse-like huts perched over the water. the conch chowder is award-winning, peppery spicy and wonderful! the blackened mahi sandwich was outstanding, moist and flavorful and served with homemade chips!

every trip to the conch house is a delight, and today was no exception!

gross.. i've been to thisplacea couple times and i just don't see what people like about it. the food is pretty bad and it smells. if you sit outside be prepared to have wind and sand blowing in your face and your server forgetting about you. the tables are dirty inside and outside, and so is the silverware. i will not be sad if a family member never recommends coming here again, because that is the only time i ever have to go.

unfortunately food not overly impressive at all for dinner service. i've been to the conch house for lunch before and liked it very much but i will say that dinner was not so great so maybe it's hit or miss who knows. they really need to open up their menu a bit, i found it to be boring and limited for aplacethat has much more potential with its location. the service was a bit slow in the beginning but picked up after we got our drinks. i hate to say it but we all just came away feeling really blah about the whole experience and sadly i don't think that we will be back considering i have found other places on the island that are much better food at an even better price point.

we were so excited because the location/atmosphere was perfect. food was terrible. they should fire the entire kitchen staff. the shrimp artichoke dip, was curdled chunks of cream cheese floating in orange grease, my entire dinner was ice cold like it had been made hours ago, and the conch chowder was disgusting. the manager who had the time to drop off our appetizer, never came over after we sent back my ice cold dinner. which they microwaved a portion of and tried to bring back to me. the only thing that was partially edible was the jerk chicken. hostess and waitresses were nice. thisplacesurvives on location alone.

not bad at all. arrived at lunch on a busy sunday, ended up with the best seat in the house after about a 45 minute wait. the food was wonderful as well as the drinks. this seems to be a greatplacefor everybody especially the young folks looking to troll out on the dock. two thumbs up!!!!!!

good food, great view. this is a greatplaceto go on a nice day, sit at a table on the deck, and have good food at a reasonable price. the service was good both times we were there.

not the best. thisplaceis average. food was okay. the waiter was also our bartender and made my drink really strong. thats about the only good thing about my experience there. the atmosphere is cool. you can sit inside and look out onto the water or sit up in a pelicans table elevated above the water.

fantastic food and service. after looking around all day our whole group (5) were tired and wanted some good food. we happened to see the sign out on a1a. i'm so glad we did. it was cold and drizzly that day so there weren't many people around. we almost did't go in, we thought it was closed.

i'm so glad we took a chance! the staff was super friendly, theplacewas neat to look at as well. the margarita from the bar was super. but best of all as the food. we ordered the chicken salad wrap, grouper sandwich, captain's blt, steak and cheese sandwich, fried shrimp, conch fritters, gator tail, smoked fish dip and last but most certainly not least 2 key lime pies. everything was cooked perfectly and obviously made fresh.

we'll definitely be back next time we come to st. augustine, this is now our number 1placehere.

thisplaceis about the location, awesome setting and the wonderful variety of places to hang out. tikki ding high above the water. tropical bars over the water. light house views. music. views to the ocean from thier upstairs gazebo or lighthouse area. where the warm breezes raft through the octagon dining area. down side the seafood tends to be over cooked frequently in the past two years i have stopped in. have been coming here for years. love the atmosphere.

the calamari appetizer with the banana peppers was superb. the atmosphere is incredible -- even the bar at the end of the doc is a coolplaceto have a drink while waiting on your table. i wouldn't get the fried platter again, but the oysters and crab cakes were wonderful.

food is just fair and way overpriced. just a niceplaceto go and sit on the marina for a drink and listen to music. other than drinks, avoid this place.

i love thisplace& now the food.... we are regular visitors to the bar at the conch house bar. as a matter of fact, we are known my name and drink type. but i get out of there fast before the real bar crowd and reggae sunday occurs. it is great for the young crowd, we just need to go to bed after a few drinks at the conch house. this day was as was determined to relax and listen to the music. we ordered bar food and i was pleased. i had the steak and cheese and my husband had the peel & eat shrimp. simple food but great service, greatttt atmosphere, great friends (who you make once you sit there with a drink in your hand because they pour a mean drink) and ... who could not love this place.

average food. i have been here twice attempting to dine alone, and was completely ignored by the waitstaff after being seated. well not completely ignored; they walked by just staring at me.
the view is great of the salt run (not the ocean), with boat activity, and bird life. greatplaceto have a beer at the bar halfway out the walkway to the marina, but food at the restaurant is average at best.

love the location and patio! carribean vibe! food is great but pricey for dinner! we usually go for lunch. even my daughters "fish nuggets" were real fish, nit pressed, and delicious! a greatplacefor a nice drink and conversation with a view!
