great dinner in one of the tiki huts. there were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our entrees. shrimp n grits were amazing. if i have any suggestion it would be on the oysters. 14.00 for a dozen and the size of the oysters where not larger than a quarter. not pleased with that selection. but everything else was fabulous. food, service, ambience highly recommend it all

we were so excited because the location/atmosphere was perfect. food was terrible. they should fire the entire kitchen staff. the shrimp artichoke dip, was curdled chunks of cream cheese floating in orange grease, my entire dinner was ice cold like it had been made hours ago, and the conch chowder was disgusting. the manager who had the time to drop off our appetizer, never came over after we sent back my ice cold dinner. which they microwaved a portion of and tried to bring back to me. the only thing that was partially edible was the jerk chicken. hostess and waitresses were nice. this place survives on location alone.

ehh. nice atmosphere and friendly staff but the food was just ok. i ordered the cuban sandwich and my husband ordered the chicken kabob. when i asked for no peppers on my sandwich the waitress told me that the sandwiches are pre-made in the morning and that i could just pick them off when she delivered my food. well a pre-made sandwich means it was soggie in some places from the vinegar the peppers were soaked in, so even though it was a panini it was still soggie. i didn't finish it. my husband liked his meal. in my opinion it doesn't take that long to make a sandwich and they should be made as ordered. for all i know i had a left over sandwich from yesterday. i don't plan on coming back.

not good. we were so excited to eat here - but what a huge disappointment! we waited for 30 minutes to get our appetizer (calamari) that was cold and tasted like freezer burn! once our dinner finally arrived, it was more of the same, cold, bland, and lifeless food. if you are going to charge $17-22 a meal, you need to back it up with quality! i'm thinking your alcohol sales and "reggae sundays" are what keep you afloat because your food is not wothy to remember.

not bad at all. arrived at lunch on a busy sunday, ended up with the best seat in the house after about a 45 minute wait. the food was wonderful as well as the drinks. this seems to be a great place for everybody especially the young folks looking to troll out on the dock. two thumbs up!!!!!!

good food, great view. this is a great place to go on a nice day, sit at a table on the deck, and have good food at a reasonable price. the service was good both times we were there.

average. the food was good. nothing wonderfully amazing, especially for the prices. our service was horrible. the waitress was not personable and only said what she had to say. took forever to get refills. i noticed the other waitress was keeping up with her tables much better.

not the best. this place is average. food was okay. the waiter was also our bartender and made my drink really strong. thats about the only good thing about my experience there. the atmosphere is cool. you can sit inside and look out onto the water or sit up in a pelicans table elevated above the water.

fantastic food and service. after looking around all day our whole group (5) were tired and wanted some good food. we happened to see the sign out on a1a. i'm so glad we did. it was cold and drizzly that day so there weren't many people around. we almost did't go in, we thought it was closed.

i'm so glad we took a chance! the staff was super friendly, the place was neat to look at as well. the margarita from the bar was super. but best of all as the food. we ordered the chicken salad wrap, grouper sandwich, captain's blt, steak and cheese sandwich, fried shrimp, conch fritters, gator tail, smoked fish dip and last but most certainly not least 2 key lime pies. everything was cooked perfectly and obviously made fresh.

we'll definitely be back next time we come to st. augustine, this is now our number 1 place here.

weekday lunch. had alligator tail for the app. was served with a keylime mustard (actually more mayo than mustard) that was perfect! the entrees were grilled mahi sanwich, blt (lots of bacon!) and fried shrimp. heck, i asked for more of the keylime mustard and put it on the mahi and it was an awesome compliment! great lunch and wonderful setting on the water.

this place is about the location, awesome setting and the wonderful variety of places to hang out. tikki ding high above the water. tropical bars over the water. light house views. music. views to the ocean from thier upstairs gazebo or lighthouse area. where the warm breezes raft through the octagon dining area. down side the seafood tends to be over cooked frequently in the past two years i have stopped in. have been coming here for years. love the atmosphere.

atmosphere the best. i love the harbor and the restaurant location. the food was so-so, not as i remembered it to be. we hadn't eaten here in many many years. my sister and mother liked the calamari, but i did not. our server shelby was excellent. i didn't drink as we were there for lunch w/ kids, but i will always return to the conch house because of it's location and possibly good food!

the calamari appetizer with the banana peppers was superb. the atmosphere is incredible -- even the bar at the end of the doc is a cool place to have a drink while waiting on your table. i wouldn't get the fried platter again, but the oysters and crab cakes were wonderful.

good food, great atmosphere. calamari appetizer was to die for! tortilla chicken was awesome! went during the day so it wasn't crowded and service was good. great to sit by the water.

great view!! love sitting in the tiki huts over the water! the food is overpriced for what you get and how much you get. average food. service is always terrible and takes way too long even when there's no one there. they could use a lot of help. would go more often if food and service was better.
