the cavendish restaurant - bonnington jumeirah lake towers

i don't think i'll come again, food wasn't very tasty, and overcooked, the steak was even hard to chew.
prices are reasonable though. i expected more from a restaurant in a five stars hotel

we were in jlt during lunchtime and browsed through the entertainer and zomato for a formidable match. we zeroed in on the cavendish at the bonnington, which was nearby to where we were.

we were the only ones at the restaurant and were promptly seated next to the high windows. we ordered the wagyu burger and fish & chips and asked for sweet potato fries with both.

the burger was a mammoth. it was as tall as the eiffel tower. with a thick patty, fresh greens and gooey cheddar cheese, it was a winner by all means.

the fish and chips was supposedly in ginger ale batter but i couldn't tell any difference. nothing extraordinary but decent.

we were served by a couple of staff who were very courteous.

we would definitely return to try the rest of the items on the menu.

the food here looks and taste michelin star! the restaurant is bright, clean and the staff are very friendly and accommodating! they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner with a #smartcasual dress code.

the location of this restaurant is in a very lavish hotel therefore we had high expectations. the entrance is also quite elegant as you are led through a 'secret' stairway into an even more sophisticated setting, everything about this place screams extravagant.
they have a substantial selection of salads, main courses, soups and desserts. the salads, excluding traditional arabic ones, are very unique and made with top quality ingredients. one of the main courses i took rounds of was their lamb ouzi. it was simply delightful. the only live station of shawarma was a nice addition but wish they had more stations.
the desserts were pleasing to the eye and were vast in variety that i couldn't manage to try them all as i was hooked on their amazing kunafa.
it was a great experience overall and i would highly recommend it especially because of the ease of parking. their ouzi is a must try!

i was invited for the ifthar preview to cavendish @located at the bonnington hotel,jlt.i was quite impressed with the spread they served for the preview and that's gonna be the exact menu for the ifthar.the spread was very descent.they served varieties of middle eastern and european dishes in the buffet.they have a table for drinks with 4 kinds of middle eastern drinks.everything was delicious.they also have counters for soups,salads,grills and maincourses.their dessert spread is huge as well.i thoroughly enjoyed the food.my favorites were the lamb chops,ouzi and the chicken biriyani.everything tasted delicious.

i have tried ifthar buffet from many hotels in the city.
but the ifthar buffet at the cavendish impressed me big time.eventhough the spread is not sooo huge each dish they served stood out.if you are someone who loves to try out ifthar buffet like me this place is definitely a must visit.i bet u won't regret.

lovely place , went there for a bday party n the arrangements were fantastic.dinner was a buffet spread , an interesting mix of indian n arabic n international.dishes ...noteworthy a delicious artichoke salad and shahi paneer was absolutely amazing..will visit again soon to try more of their menu

went there for a small date and we were not disappointed...drinks and food were good.. in fact staff members were really friendly and helpful.. they also suggested some drinks which were good for sore throat that they made specially for us.. ambiance and cleanliness was nicely maintained...

excellent signature dishes that leaves a mark in your palate.

from  the crispy vegetable cuts and bruschetta  starters up to their wild mushroom risotto, i had no reason not to clean my plate. 

each dish has authentic taste and portion wise? it's abundant. pretty to share but yes! i had it all by myself.
i love the wild mushroom risotto which was recommended for vegetarians.  i can tell why has been the favorite vegetarian meal, the flavor was so rich and a bit creamy with a crisp on the side brought by rocket leaves.  my friend had spicy penne pasta with margherita on the side. 

the palate adventure ended with soft tiramisu with raspberries and mint. truly rich in real taste and perfectly presented!

the server was really nice and keen to ask my preference. we enjoyed the soft music on the background and the touch of marbles and glasses made the place really classically indulging!

in my desire to have a decent eid brunch which doesn't have to offer a lavish buffet selection, my friend and i decided to go for a cheaper offer and opted cavendish in bonnington up by jumeirah lake towers. however, for what i thought would have been a less filling afternoon, i ended up completely satisfied and in fact burping and bloating.

the selection of food at the buffet are really good. they may have less varieties at the buffet but they are made perfect to my liking. salad options are fresh, meat options will keep you coming back for more-roast beef, lamb chops, shish taouk, lamb kebab. the ouzi is seriously scrumptious and i had to control myself from eating so much of it's savory rice. the only downfall is that there is not so much of vegetable or seafood dishes for mains. the dessert section was arranged creatively with mini cakes, arabic sweet, fruits & chocolate fountain. i love how the umm ali was made as it is not soggy like how others prepares it.

staff are all friendly and even the manager is hands on assisting the guests. the restaurant is located at the lower ground level of the hotel and there's an outside seating too. a big kids room was designed at one corner of the restaurant to cater to young guests. for aed 129, this is really a very good deal.

went with my friends for iftar yesterday - 19th june, 2016. at first it looked like a decent spread but the food was very average. even the sharwarma is bad. it is more of bread than filling. not worth the money they charge for iftar. we reached there by 7.30 by then the specialty fish dish is over but they didn't bother refilling it. 

overall not a very satisfying feeling !!

i was invited at the cavendish at the bonnington hotel in jumeirah lakes towers, cluster j to try their new italian menu: taste of italy. it is the perfect venue for a romantic dinner. we were warmly welcomed by the friendly operation manager mrs. annabelle thiebaut. i asked her to recommend me a main course and i thank her for her great choice.

when i walked into the cavendish, exuding the charms of old-school grandeur (white starched linen, immaculate tableware, a grand piano… the works!), i felt rather out of place. there i was in my ‘boho meets soccer mummy’ getup, a breezy floral tunic paired with super-comfy slacks, when i really should have donned my pearls, red lippie and lbd.

we had a fantastic dinner in cavendish restaurant for newly launch italian dinner menu the table decoration of the table setup and display of the wine was attractive . the food was great specially beef carpaccio as a starter and for the main is risotto recommend by mr mollah with pairing with nice wine. the service was excellent with smile and positive attitude. highly recommended!!!!!!! 👏👏👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌

we had a resevertion for social dinning dinner for 4.in cavendish terrace. the location is very nice with beautiful view of jlt. the food was excellent with live cooking staion. the selection of beverages are very awsume. specially the cocktail. the waiter are very smilly nd huge knowledge about food and drinks. the waiter mollah who made our night very very special. thanks mollah for ur outstanding service. great value of time nd money.

located in the jlt cluster j is the cavendish restaurant. the place is perfect for a quiet romantic dinner or a business meet over excellent food and service.
we were there for dinner and started off the night with wine and a ceasar salad along with a beef carpaccio this was followed by my perfect sirloin steak which came with fat fries, onion rings and garlic mushrooms paired with red wine.
the steak was excellent and the mushrooms are to die for.
dessert was some excellent mango sorbet and tiramissu followed by coffee.
definitely recommend.
