literally, when i came to vegas.. all i did was eat at buffets and this was probably my most favorite buffet. the options are massive here and the dessert options are more massive. the food is cooked to perfection, it is expensive, but you literally get the quality of food that you paid for.

tuck in your tummy, you need to save room (at least try one of each, haha that's what i did for the desserts) yum.

vegas buffets are always an adventure and can be hit or miss depending on which hotel you're in, so we have a short list of which ones we frequent

i can have crab legs for lunch... hard to find a problem with that. the selection and variety is great, they keep the food refreshed and hot, the areas are clean, service is quick in taking old plates away

we like this one and frequent it when we're in vegas

bellagio buffet. the food used to be good but the quality is decreasing. they are raising the prices with any excuse about what they may call " special weekend". these high prices start fridays and ends mondays when the tourists are gone... what happened with the old las vegas when the food was good and prices were very cheap. not anymore... they want to give less and less for more
money.

the buffet room is dark and not pleasant. it used to be great, but unfortunately my opinion
is not the same.

sadly i agree with the last few negative reviews. aside from my own personal situation, where i dined at the buffet earlier tonight and am now up vomiting, i wanted to like the buffet. the selection for a tuesday night was a 6/10, but to me all the food tasted the same - very little flavour or quality (2/10). i was especially disappointed by the fish offerings - ample and delicious crab legs, but the sushi was dry, and the ahi and salmon pokes, the seafood ceviche, the mussels all tasted sort of the same - i hardly knew i was eating those dishes for lack of flavour.
the one saving grace, as another reviewer stated was the seared chilean sea bass - totally amazing! and the star was surprisingly the mango panna cotta dessert - could've eaten 10 of them lol.
i am a vegas newbie so i don't have a comparison of another buffet or a recommendation for another, but it's sad i enjoyed my skillet denny's breakfast this morning more than my dinner!

disappointing. so, we finally made it there only to be really disillusioned by it. we heard all the hype but the quality of the food, but more so the lack of taste, choices and especially cooking skills left much to be desired. spend your time and money somewhere else. service also was hardly 2 stars, got our drinks late, plates were not taken away,, no extra napkins, no questions if we needed anything else, etc. and it wasn't really busy,, so, no excuse.

overpriced. waited in line for forever. paid for the champagne add on-not worth the extra money in the least. food was often cold when it should have been hot. bland flavors for most. limited choices. don't waste your time and money. go to bacchanal if a great buffet is what you seek.

best food in vegas. tender prime rib, excellent sauces, nothing overcooked. great variety. only drawback is the crowd. get there early if you want to get in.

the bellagio is probably one of the most famous locations on the las vegas strip. whether it is renowned for the amazing dancing fountains or the glamour from danny & the boys from the oceans 11 trilogy, the bellagio is a must visit when travelling to sin city.
however, if your hunger takes over in between poker hands, may i suggest a trip down the road??? the fact that it was the buffet at the bellagio enticed us to line up to get in. after a bit of a wait (about 15minutes) we were in. the food was pretty sub-standard from the meat, to the sides & even desserts. applebee's even looked good over this place.
then came the service. these waitresses obviously get paid fairly well as they sure ain't pushing for tips.
please don't let the name of bellagio entice you to enter the buffet doors, but if you must go, don't expect too much.

sorry for the lack of recent posts: one of my projects at work was literally taking over my life…..14 hour days, working weekends, calls from the client at 1am in the morning…you get the picture. anyway, as a way of saying thanks, my boss sent me out to las vegas for a “valuations course” (i know, right!). having heard so many wild stories about vegas, i didn’t quite know what to expect – particularly if i was meant to be studying for an exam! having spent a good few hours on wikitravel,   tripadvisor and a host of other tourist sites, i planned an itinerary for the 5 days that i was there. highlights included: the bellagio fountains a showing of la reve the volcano at the mirage a visit to old vegas (freemont street) the stratosphere bar and rides double frozen chocolate a serendipity 3 given that i live near gatwick, i took the virgin atlantic direct flight to vegas. although it wasn’t bad, i will definitely travel on ba next time: the food (felt like a school lunch), level of servic

i liked the service and most all the dishes i sampled at the bellagio buffet but likened the experience to eating in a bus station full of chain smokers. i couldn't really enjoy the meal because of the unrelenting assault on all my other senses. standing in line to get in was like waiting for a ride at a theme park, but with acrid cigarette smoke from the nearby casino floor burning my eyes, nose, and throat. the din of the crowd was amplified as it bounced around the giant, unadorned dining rooms and tiled floors of the buffet space like what it sounds like to be in a bus station or on a nyc subway platform. the cafeteria-style sprawl of steam tables just didn't appeal to me as i expected something more like a royal caribbean cruise ship buffet. the staff were all wonderful and the cooks kept the food piled high and well stocked.

i have always heard that the bellagio had an outstanding buffet but in all of my trips to vegas i have never actually tried it. we were there in the beautiful bellagio enjoying it's many features and decided to give buffet a try. the line was not bad and the price for two was just under $50.
i did my scan of the entire buffet before selecting my first item. i was a little surprised at the spread because although there were many items that looked good, i felt that overall it was a little lackluster. unfortunately they already had two strikes against them - #1 with all of the hype (and the fact of being located in the bellagio) i had very high expectations, and #2 i had just visited the wicked spoon buffet at the cosmopolitan, which was going to be difficult to surpass.

ate till i hated myself.. it was definitely delicious, what i expected out of a good buffet, however it wasn't the "greatest" buffet i've ever been to. the macarons were soooo yummy.

wow! yum!. 3 times i have ventured to the buffet at bellagio. 3 times this boofet has sent me to my happy place. lunch buffet is the best time to try buffets. the carving stations were always attended to. i enjoy the wide selection of food including the seafood no louisiana buffet would even think of serving.
walk through the boofet first to get the lay of the land. then commence sacking and pillaging. but save room for desserts. yum. yum. yum. if you see a cheesecake dome with a raspberry on top, grab it and devour it.
service is kind and very attentive.
this boofet (it definitely qualifies as a boofet, my highest ranking) is among my top 3 boofets of all time.
