midweek dinner at this buffet, with tax and tip, set me back $43. the buffet itself is standard extensive las vegas: meats, seafood, veggies, soup, salad, bread, italian, asian, mexican, etc. etc. (and an extensive dessert selection!)
overall i found the food to be freshly prepared but slightly lacking in flavor and punch. the obvious highlights of the place were the crab legs, prime rib, sea bass and pizza (surprisingly). even these items weren't without their flaws, however. the sea bass was very tasty but not well deboned, and the prime rib was fairly low-fat (resulting in a muted flavor and tougher texture). i sampled about 10 of the desserts as well, and found them to be a mixed bag. the best desserts i tried were the mango coconut panna cotta and the tiramisu.
will you like this buffet? possibly!buffetsare for stuffing your face for cheaper than ordering a la carte, even at the expense of a bit of flavor right? but personally from my limited experience, i would tram hop down to mandalay bay for the buffet there instead.
