afternoon tea?. my daughter and i had an afternoon tea reservation at the cafe that i'd made several weeks prior. to begin with, the cafe entrance (and the whole operation for that matter) is dysfunctional. it's not clear as to where to go to get a table when you get there. i had to wait in the carryout pickup line to tell an employee i had a reservation. the employee found our name but someone was seated at the table we were supposed to get. it was downhill from there. the service was horrible. we had to wait about 5 minutes to get a table, another 5 to get a menu, the tea's were mixed up, we finally had to ask for more tea, 10 minutes waiting in line to pay the bill, etc. if you want a nice peaceful relaxing place to have afternoon tea-go somewhere else. the cookies weregoodbut next time i'll just pick some up from the bakery.
