great vegetarian selection. this is a nice gem hidden in a strip mall in westlake. there is tons of vegetarian options, and the portion size is generous.

the summer spring rolls are tasty, as are their curries - and there is a myriad to choose from!

the prices are very fair, but the dining room could be a bit cleaner/less gloomy.

anyhow, we will comebackto enjoy more thai food...

nice place. waiter was very nice. i had lemongrass soup and the thai string beans with chicken (added tofu also)and at first i did not think it would be enough food but it was more than enough. i wanted to order something other than the customary pad thai. the thai sauce that was in the dish was very rich and a little spicy but not that much. the green beans in the dish were fresh and crisp overall good dinner.i would gobackand maybe next time i will have some bubble tea.

meh.. my wife and i went to thai spice on a sunday afternoon, with friends. some of the (deep fried) appetizers arrived lukewarm rather than hot. flavorings were oversweet and underwhelming. worse, the service was ridiculously slow; we waited a long time for the appetizers to arrive, then another long while for the entrees to arrive after the appetizers were finished. when the waitress collected our plates at the end of the meal, we indicated we wanted to order desserts. it took her about 20 minutes to bring us the menu so we could choose a dessert. then another long while before she camebackto take the dessert order. finally we found ourselves staring at our empty plates for another 20 minutes while we waited for the check. she kept apologizing, apparently aware she'd been slow, but the service didn't get any better. altogether it took nearly 3 hours to get in and out of there, and they weren't even busy.

i want to like this place. some of the food is quite good, but some of these lapses are getting into my inexcusable zone. i doubt i'll go back.

great!. bought a groupon for thai spice -- thought i'd give it a try, love thai, but always looking for more authentic and affordable. what a wonderful surprise. lunch for two, two steaming hot bowls of soup and an entree with a pot of tea. just a bit over $23. fantastic flavors, friendly server, clean place. i was impressed. wish i could gobacktomorrow!

only so-so this time. went to thai spice and were promptly seated and waited on. the lemon grass soup was really good. it was at the order that either there was miscommuncation or the kitchen not preparing the food the way it was ordered. we asked for "hot "on both our plates, but camebackmild to medium. also, we needed to ask a number of times for water and a beer. the food was delicious, just not made to our asking. next time we'll be a bit more communicative and send itbackif it's not right.

great place again. wentbackfor another dinner and it seems more crowded now that people are seeing and tasting how great the food is. medium hot is hot and good. still got out of there under $60 for 3 appetizers, 4 beers, and two entrees. the staff was friendly as ever. highly recommend this place.

great place. i haven't gone to an asian restaurant in a while, but was very impressed by the food and the service. i had a "medium" hotness in my food and was sweating at my collar! the coconut sauce was mixed with the right spices. we had two appetizers, two entrees and 4 beers and our bill was only $50. i consider that a bargain.
the servers were very polite and helpful. just a great little place for some great food at a great price.

best thai food ever. my wife and daughter had experienced the wonderful food at thai spice on several occasions and decided to take me valentine's day evening. from the time we first entered the restaurant i could tell i might be in for a real treat. the thai food aromas that filled the air told you as much. also the dining area was very warm on this cold winter evening as well as very clean and quiet. there is a wide array of selections on the menu. we enjoyed the chicken satay and spring rolls for our appetizers. for the main course my wife and daughter chose their favorites and i chose a spicy curry entre that included a half portion of duck , with eggplant, summer squash, tomato, zucchini, onion, carrots and red pepper. it was without a doubt the most delicious thai dish i had ever tasted. everything on the menu is reasonably priced and if you enjoy it as much as we did, you will bebackagain.

great food. my husband and i like vietnamese and thai food and we were usually going to pho#1 for this kind of food. because we live on the west side we decided to give thai spice a try.
we had a pho soup , a thai garden and a panang curry . all 3 were delicious and made with fresh ingredients.
the staff was very courteous.
we were impressed with both food and atmosphere .we will gobackvery soon.

delicious! go there!. i was so thrilled to find such wonderful, authentic thai food here on the west side. so far, i've only been once, but the summer rolls were about the best i've ever had, and the pork with string beans in a delicious coconut milk sauce was wonderful. i can't wait to gobackand try some of the vietnamese dishes. please try it. they weren't at all busy when i was there (two tables), and i really want to see them make it. really looking forward to my next experience.
