terry's cafe

came recently and was served by a moody and ignorant host. she was too busy messing around with staff than wondering whether we needed serving. 

just read other reviews and one customer is right - the owner doesn’t want to hear constructive feedback. whether you’ve been in business 1 or 35 years is of no consequence. people give up their precious time and cash to eat somewhere where they will feel welcome. 

it feelsgoodto get value for time and money as opposed to moodiness, ignorance and lazy service.  

so please - take on board those customers who take the time to write a review and chat with your team who are not pulling their socks up. 
*** the owner wrote back to another customer review saying that they can “assess” whether they want to come back, which is fair enough. but it’s their loss. not the customer’s. 

the food is great. but if you’re looking for consistent, welcoming customer service - i’d give terry’s café a miss.

great cafe for a fry up, one of my favourite places to have breakfast whenever i am in the area. lunch is quitegoodas well, particularly the sausage, mash and onions on fridays.

a lovely cafe, all the food is fresh ans absolutely delicious. the atmosphere is cozy and the place is very welcoming. the food and coffee isgoodvalue for money too. it is one of the best cafes i have been to in london. would recommend to everyone.

the cafe is more suitable for breakfast than lunch. the guy running the place is very entertaining. he comes at your table cracks a joke and that is agoodstart to your mornings. they place offers daily specials that are agoodvalue for money. the view from the cafe is also very good.

this one is an authentic british cafe and there are very few in london so according to me this place is a must visit.
the food is always fresh and portions are generous too.
the ambiance is also verygood, you will feel like you are again living in 40s.
if you are planning on visiting here i am sure you will have truly awesome experience.

i went their on a friends birthday, it was his favorite place. this cafe is run by a family and they are famous for servinggoodvariety of breakfast options. the restaurant was not fully occupied so we enjoyed our time there. they were serving a variety of pies all served with mash and vegetables on the side.

i usually go there along with my friends. this place is quitegoodif you want to have a breakfast but i must warn you that the food offered here is a bit more oily than what you will normally find at other places. i must recommend you to try their bacon sandwiches. the coffee is alsogoodand i am pretty sure that you will enjoy your time there.

i have now become a regular visitor at this cafe ,after a verygoodexperience here.
as far as the decor of the cafe is concerned , it is your regular english cafe with seating arrangement both inside the area and outdoors too. the ambiance to is pretty rich with cool music playing in the background.
the menu has agoodrange of typical english dishes which are priced appropriately.
the food was of agoodstandard and the presentation excellent too.i recommend trying the coffee here which is different and tasty than other such places.
definitely drop in , it is quite great!

this quaint joint in the neighborhood was simply perfect. the place had a great atmosphere making the breakfast enjoyable. the service was exceptional. the food that we ordered that is eggs, sausages, beans toast and tea were all reallygoodleaving no scope for any complaints. we enjoyed out time at this place greatly and would definitely visit again!

this place serves reallygoodfood and it is the reason that you will always find it fully packed. the tea that i had was very good. the portions that they serve are quite enormous. you may have to wait for a little while to find your seat but trust me, it is worth it.

this place seemed a very posh affair from its interiors. i thought it will be quite expensive but thankfully it was not. this is a main stream cafe servinggoodfood with not very extensive selections in their menu. there was soothing music playing in the background. although still the prices were above standard for the portion size that we got.

this place is quite an institution in itself for serving amazing coffees. although, i am not really happy with this place since my past few visits. coffee isgoodbut the major downer is their service. the servers are rude and inattentive. you have to call them at least three to four times before they come and take your order.

terry's just does it right. strongly brewed tea as soon as you step through the door, bubble & squeak which sticks to your bones and trad jazz to wash it all down with. spending a little extra ongoodingredients makes a big difference and the portion size ensures terry's is always full. go grab a seat and enjoy the best fry up in london.
