fresh and fun!. teocali is a fresh slice of mexico near the heart of kansas city. it is convenient to crown center, hospital hill, union station, and highway 71 (bruce r. watkins drive). the vibe is fun and friendly and the food is outstanding. everything looks, feels, smells, and tastes fresh! you won't have a greasy feeling after eating here, but you will enjoygreatflavors and smart seasoning. i enjoyed a terrific lunch of tacos puerto vallarta (two soft tilapia tacos, rice, and pinto beans). everything was well portioned and deliciously balanced. the chips and salsa are excellent as well. i'm ready to go back for dinner!
