rating 4.0 pretty good bubble tea place. the tea itself is decent, but the main selling point is their 2 for 1pricedeal. definitely value for money.

i am a fan of their milk tea and fancy cups! each time i pass the town hall station, i will grab a cup of milk tea there. their milk tea is truly amazing and their cups are beautiful. i have been collecting them actually. and thepriceis super satisfying— 7 dollars for two!

2 for the 1priceis a real steal, especially in comparison to all bubble tea chains. even adding toppings is still more affordable than other chains! drinks are 1 sized, but its perfect.

the taste of tea is nice and strong, and exactly how i like it. i always go for oolong tky with herbal jelly with no sugar. the sweetness in the herbal jelly is enough to bring the lovely taste tea.

although there is always a line, their service is really quick, so i dont mind lining up even if there are 5 or 10 people in front of me.

special note for being the only 5-star bubble tea shop i've rated on zomato! more photos in blog :)

i think this is the busiest bubble tea store in sydney. and for good reason. it offers two large servings for thepriceof one every day and it would be very easy to say this is the reason why it’s so popular. but good tea always trumps cheap tea and so does tea shop express offer more than just the latter?

at this point, their 2 for thepriceof 1 tea offer has become legendary and with good reason! using actual tea leaves that have more flavour than the usual overly sweet sugar milk of most milk tea chains, tea shop express provides customers with above standard tea in a much larger cup than usual at less than half thepriceof its competitors. they provide a fairly interesting range of flavours and are easily the tea shop with the highest value and quality for money in sydney. the only downside is that their popularity has skyrocketed and there is always a decent line for the shop (but they're also fairly prompt with making the tea so it's not too bad!)

high quality healthy chinese latte or taiwanese latte.

$6 for two. thepriceis really reasonable but the quality does not compromise!

5/5 matcha 🍵 latte. it’s green tea latte originally from ancient china but popular in japan. for me, a matcha lover, it is really hard for me to find an authentic matcha 🍵 in sydney.

i tried almost every cafe ( including starbucks) they cannot do matcha without sugar cause their matcha powder contains sugar already. so the matcha those cafe made lost the original bitter taste of matcha.

here, tea shop express is different. their matcha powder is real matcha without added sugar. so with their other tea. any tea is made from order! that’s the reason i give them 5 stars.

plus, super lovely staff! 💓💓🌸🌸

convenient place in town hall just outside town hall station. definitely recommend!
drinks are very affordable, halfpricecompared to other competitors in sydney, extra charge for topping. cold drinks in large and hot drinks regular size. friendly and english speaking staff.

i especially like their tea latte (milk tea made with fresh milk) made from assam black or earl grey milk tea with 1/4 sugar and 1/2 ice.

this place is sometimes confused with another place near by. * they do not sell crepes!*

the bubble tea here is really good and at a relatively cheappriceas well. they have many flavours, including their signature assam black milk tea, taro, matcha, oolong and many more! there are different offers every day, but there will always be the buy 1 get 1 free for $6 for any of their drinks every day. though there may seem to be long queues every time, their service is actually really fast. there are also multiple options which you can choose from, like the amount of sugar you want in your drink and whether you want ice in your drink. toppings are only 50c extra so i often get pearls. staff are also very nice, so overall a really good experience!

there is a line here at lunch time quite regularly so i was intrigued. then my colleagues came back with large cups of bubble tea and said they only paid $3 for it, and i realised it was this exact place. they have a few deals going on, the most appealing to me was the 2 for $6 so my friend and i went to get ourselves some tea. the cup they give you is huge and they have plenty of flavours to choose from. you can choose the amount of sugar you'd like as well. for thepriceyou're paying, yes it is worth it.

the tea shop express has a range of crepes and bubble teas to offer. there are generally quite a lot of people waiting in line for the bubble teas due to the buy one get one free deal. the wait is okay, but can take a while sometimes. the bubbles teas aren't bad, with a pleasant taste. there are quite a lot of teas to choose from. the pricing is pretty good, with 2 teas and 1 topping each being $6.50 for both. this is the averagepricefor one large bubble tea from other chains such as chatime or gong cha. it is a good idea to try it out while with a friend for the 2 for 1 deal. there are the crepes as well. these are around $3 each, and take quite a while to make. however, from my point of view, the crepes are a bit overcooked and the toppings aren't worth it. they are put into a cone and folded like a triangle. the crepes are ok to try maybe once, but they aren't that nice to make me try them again. overall, it's a nice alternative to more expensive bubble tea chains, but the wait can be a bit annoying.

cheaper than a regular size coffee, or even for a pot of tea at a café, tea shop express has super dooper deals on their dessert menu all day everyday. tea shop express is in front of a grocery store, which is separate from a dessert bar at the front on the walkway to george street event cinemas from townhall station. they offer a buy 1 get 1 free drink timetable. essentially, every day you can get a pearl milk tea with a friend for halfpriceeach. after quickly interviewing a few people about their drinks, the consensus was that it tastes more like tea and not too sweet because you can choose to add your sugars. everything is made on the spot with real tea. but mind you, the pearls are honestly the best ones i’ve tasted. soft and chewy throughout the ball, not like the ones that are hard insi
