rating 4.0 pretty goodbubbletea place. the tea itself is decent, but the main selling point is their 2 for 1 price deal. definitely value for money.

2 for the 1 price is a real steal, especially in comparison to allbubbletea chains. even adding toppings is still more affordable than other chains! drinks are 1 sized, but its perfect.

the taste of tea is nice and strong, and exactly how i like it. i always go for oolong tky with herbal jelly with no sugar. the sweetness in the herbal jelly is enough to bring the lovely taste tea.

although there is always a line, their service is really quick, so i dont mind lining up even if there are 5 or 10 people in front of me.

special note for being the only 5-starbubbletea shop i've rated on zomato! more photos in blog :)

i think this is the busiestbubbletea store in sydney. and for good reason. it offers two large servings for the price of one every day and it would be very easy to say this is the reason why it’s so popular. but good tea always trumps cheap tea and so does tea shop express offer more than just the latter?

quick and easy, cheapbubblemilk tea ($6 for 2- large size excluding toppings), with flexible options of ice and sugar levels. however, there is not as extensive of a menu as other competitors for tea flavours.

thebubbletea here is really good and at a relatively cheap price as well. they have many flavours, including their signature assam black milk tea, taro, matcha, oolong and many more! there are different offers every day, but there will always be the buy 1 get 1 free for $6 for any of their drinks every day. though there may seem to be long queues every time, their service is actually really fast. there are also multiple options which you can choose from, like the amount of sugar you want in your drink and whether you want ice in your drink. toppings are only 50c extra so i often get pearls. staff are also very nice, so overall a really good experience!

there is a line here at lunch time quite regularly so i was intrigued. then my colleagues came back with large cups ofbubbletea and said they only paid $3 for it, and i realised it was this exact place. they have a few deals going on, the most appealing to me was the 2 for $6 so my friend and i went to get ourselves some tea. the cup they give you is huge and they have plenty of flavours to choose from. you can choose the amount of sugar you'd like as well. for the price you're paying, yes it is worth it.

the tea shop express has a range of crepes andbubbleteas to offer. there are generally quite a lot of people waiting in line for thebubbleteas due to the buy one get one free deal. the wait is okay, but can take a while sometimes. the bubbles teas aren't bad, with a pleasant taste. there are quite a lot of teas to choose from. the pricing is pretty good, with 2 teas and 1 topping each being $6.50 for both. this is the average price for one largebubbletea from other chains such as chatime or gong cha. it is a good idea to try it out while with a friend for the 2 for 1 deal. there are the crepes as well. these are around $3 each, and take quite a while to make. however, from my point of view, the crepes are a bit overcooked and the toppings aren't worth it. they are put into a cone and folded like a triangle. the crepes are ok to try maybe once, but they aren't that nice to make me try them again. overall, it's a nice alternative to more expensivebubbletea chains, but the wait can be a bit annoying.

store sellsbubbleteas, as well crispy crepes and macarons. i usually visit to get their nutella crispy crepes ($3), which are made to order so it requires a bit of a wait before they're ready.

however, on my latest visit, i was rather disappointed as the crepe i was served wasn't quite a full circle and a tad overcooked (usually they will dispose of the crepe and start again but the staff member didn't bother this time round). i also didn't appreciate it when they spread a generous amount of nutella across the entire crepe of the previous (non-asian) customer, yet barely covered half of the next crepe with a thin layer of nutella...

this tea shop first caught my attention because of the regular long queue outside. turned out they offered buy one and get one for free deal, which partially explained the popularity. it is located outside the asian grocery store citisuper inside south end of town hall station. i didn't have anyone with me at the time, so i took the second tea home that afternoon. surprisingly it still tasted good even after a few hours. to be honestly i could hardly taste the difference in the drink itself from otherbubbletea shops but would go back for the two for one deal again!

my favoritebubbletea place! the thing that i like most is that they brew their tea fresh. otherbubbletea joints tend to brew a big portion of their teas and leave them in jars, but this one does it fresh with an espresso machine. the cherry on top is their daily buy one get one deals, which make their tea fairly cheap but good quality.

my favourites are signature milk tea, taiwanese traditional milk tea or a thai tea latte. my favorite is actually their taiwanese breakfast milk tea, which unfortunately they no longer sell :( they also sell crepes that has a very nice crunch, my favorite is corn & cheese and milk paste (unfortunately also discontinued).

this place has the bestbubbletea for the best value in sydney. they make great flavour teas and their milk tea lattes use real milk instead of powdered milk which is often used by otherbubbletea shops. i really like the taro milk tea latte. there is usually quite a long line here but it is worth the wait. just wish they were open later than 7:30!

this is hands down the bestbubbletea in sydney and with buy one get one free deal everyday... can't complain at all. well maybe the long queue if you have to.

tried almost everything on the menu. the great ones are kyoto peach green tea, thai milk tea and buckwheat milk tea.

possibly the bestbubbletea in sydney cbd. being an avid tea drinker, as soon as i moved to sydney i was immediately on the hunt for some greatbubbletea joints. i have very much tried every singlebubbletea shops out there in the cbd and i have to say, tea shop express has become my favourite and i find myself coming back for more every time.

while their menu may appear plain at first, it does have a decent variety of tea leaves with distinctive flavours, which means you're not just drinking diluted artificial syrups - these are actual teas and perhaps that's why there's constantly a line in front of this small shop located inside town hall station. what's even better? if you go on a weekend (including friday) it's buy one get one free, talk about good value for money!

as for toppings in drinks, i can't really say much since i have never been a great fan of toppings, though most of the people i have brought to tea shop express so far have received them positively. tea shop express also sells crepes, which is a big bonus if you enjoy affordable crispy crepes with simple yet classic flavours (peanut butter, nutella etc).
