greasy? nope.. i almost avoided tryingteahouse all together because of the reviews that indicated that the food would be greasy. i admit that i haven't tried any of the noodle dishes, but i can attest to the general tso's chicken white meat, the twice-cooked pork, and the tofu, which were decidedly non-greasy compared to your average chinese take-out. even the spring rolls were probably the least greasy spring rolls i've ever had. these dishes were flavorful and well-spiced--nothing to write home about, but definitely good enough to be my go-to chinese takeout/delivery place. also, as an ex-vegetarian, i get grossed out really easily by meat that has a weird texture or taste, and i've never been weirded out by the meat at theteahouse. solid, standard chinese in crozet.
