joyce. the tea house in crozet is the bestchineserestaurant in our area. the staff is so courteous friendly. the food is always cooked fresh.

we recently moved to crozet from the opposite end of the county and needed something to eat while unpacking. hands down the bestchinesefood i have had in the area. a bit expensive but worth it.

rude!. went there for the first time to place a order to go. i asked a few simple questions (does this come with a egg roll, fries or steamed rice) as he answered by slamming the pen down on the menu talking like he was very frustrated. the phone rings and he picks up asking them to hold. we are in the process of ordering and i start with the shrimp lomein and he picks up the phone as i'm spitting out and a side egg roll and starts taking someone else's order and speaking chinese. we sat there a minute waiting for him to come back to ua and he never did. we put the menu up and walled out. not a good way to be greeted and treated when you are try to give your money to businesses. rude rude rude, never will i go back there again. we went to anotherchineseplace and got our food, and it was amazing!

my new go-to for take-out. i went here for the first time this week. we ordered take-out-- kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, vegetables, spring rolls, egg drop soup and wonton soup. the food was very good and the soup was excellent. some of the reviews have said the food is just ok or greasy. it was nt greasy and the vegetables wer not overcooked, something that seems common withchinesetake-out. this is the bestchinesetake-out i have found in cville. we will be getting food from here regularly.

can anyone comment on the tea?. it can't be called the tea house for no reason. do they even have tea and is it a good selection? i've been hunting for a realchinesetea house for some time and want to know if this really is a tea house as well as a restaurant.

straight-up american-stylechinesefood, well executed. shrimp in garlic sauce was yummy as a lunch special, as was the hot & sour soup.

bestchinesein crozet. mu shu pork is one of our favs. we have been eating here since they opened and we have never been disappointed. food is always fresh and service is great. our kids love the fried dumplings.

bestchineseever. amazing tastingchinesefood. extremely clean. the exact opposite of greasy. probably the best tasting meat of anychinesefood i've ever been. it actually tastes clean and (dare i say) healthy/fresh. love everything i've had except the crab rangoon (i prefer that to be greasier and theirs isn't which is actually good b/c that translates to them having better food all around)

greasy? nope.. i almost avoided trying tea house all together because of the reviews that indicated that the food would be greasy. i admit that i haven't tried any of the noodle dishes, but i can attest to the general tso's chicken white meat, the twice-cooked pork, and the tofu, which were decidedly non-greasy compared to your averagechinesetake-out. even the spring rolls were probably the least greasy spring rolls i've ever had. these dishes were flavorful and well-spiced--nothing to write home about, but definitely good enough to be my go-tochinesetakeout/delivery place. also, as an ex-vegetarian, i get grossed out really easily by meat that has a weird texture or taste, and i've never been weirded out by the meat at the tea house. solid, standardchinesein crozet.

excellent!. highly recommend this newchineserestaurant in crozet. have been there 6 or 7 times with family. everything has been delicious, fresh food. clean and inviting decor. best part is steven, our waiter, who is friendly and makes us feel welcome, so refreshing. we tell everyone we know to try tea house.

greatchinesein crozet?. what a surprise... we loved the food at tea house! spicy dumplings and crispy beef to die for. even the chicken egg foo young tasted fresh and delicious. this tiny (mostly take-out) hole in the wall place across from blue ridge builders supply squeezed between otto's (great) burger joint and (lame) domino's take-out may have the bestchinesefood in charlottesville!
