we have never been disappointed with a meal at any of the outlets. love the food, the ambiance, the waiters are well trained, the coffee is good - love it.

tonight (sat. 26/5) we visited tashas , design square....
i had the lemon chicken, which is always a delight!!...... but tonight it was served cold and i have to send it back.....!

my husband ordered spaghetti bolognese and when the dish arrived, it was fettucini bolognese.....he sent it back and once the dish was back on t table, it was also served cold!!!
what happened to food served hot .... especially in winter, tashas??

customers: please check with your waiter: order your food and ask for hot food!!!

we wont be back.... menlyn maine,s tashas is a much better option!

love this place, personal favourite. each time is nothing but a pleasant and wonderful experience. food is great, service is great, wine/cocktails are great.

reallllly good food. always constant with quality. drinks are also aesthetically pretty. the whole restaurant is beautiful. wonderful experience.

as always, the perfect spot for catching up with girlfriends! the tasha's in design sqaure in brooklyn is my favourite. service was fantastic! also love the warm feel of the place. contrary to what most believe, their prices are quite competitive. all 3 of us had meals under r100! love that their menu is unique and full of fresh new things! the pampoenkoekies and ice cream is always the highlight!

really a lovely experience. tasha's is beautifully decorated, always busy and never disappoints. mad about their salads and their milkshakes are one of my guilty pleasures. even my dad, who was slightly skeptical (as usual) when i took him there was very impressed. mouthwatering vegetarian dishes and diet ruining cakes. i hope i can visit again soon!

i like the size of this tashas, not big and cramped with tables. great weekend vibe. friendly service as well as fast. i've never needed to wait very long at all. the waffles are amazing! the harissa lamb sandwich is amazing! love it. i'm not the biggest fan of alcohol but i had a sip of an amazing cocktail, i think it was the turkish delight. really nice!

always a good option! friendly and very efficient staff, constantly delicious food, and amazing ambience. i can't wait to pay them a visit to see their recent renovations as well as try out their new menu!

the food wasn't as great today, the sauce was a bit too salty. my waiter, by the name, nesh disappeared and was nowhere to be found when i wanted to pay, he never even checked on me once. come on tashas! you were everyones fav not so long ago!

inedible bobotie

lack of standards / consistency at tashas brooklyn with their bobotie and cranberry signature dish !!

i have had the bobotie many times in the past, and was one of my favourites that was so nice , so good, that it was difficult to try something else!!
i had forgotten that the dish had been overspiced, just too hot , a few months ago, when i entertained some german guests on 24th march to a "typical" south african dish.

disaster! the bobotie was virtually inedible, devoid of taste it was so hot. sorry.
i complained and unlike last time were i was offered something else, the manager? on duty arrogantly said thats the way the bobotie was prepared. i beg to differ ! i have supported tashes since opening in brooklyn , know many of the staff- i didnt recognise his face.

he and tashas management should go 2km down the road to a spar and try their bobotie that is served there as a ready made take away meal- excellent!!

as always, amazing food and amazing decor. the pampoenkoekies on the house menu are such a treat- warm, fragrant and comforting, perfect for a cold winter evening

delicious, amazing and appetising! the atmosphere and creative menu is the reason why we are seeing more and more tashas in gauteng. my wife and i love the pasta and coffee. excellent for lunch dates.

not impressed, over priced and under deliver. the management was rude and the food was cold. i have been there several times and always left unimpressed, never again

me and a group of friends went to tashas on mothers day. when we got there there were no tables. but the service was quick we didn't sit out in the cold for long.
it was a homely environment. friendly and patient stuff.
the only downside is that there was no kiddies menuthey can try to keep the place warm during the cold wet weather outside.
was happy with the choice of food i made. their waffle nom nom 👌.

wow the apricot sticky ribs are amazing, meaty and soft! super, always busy but worth the wait, must be the most reliable restaurant in the brooklyn mall area.
