tashas is situated in the heart of brooklyn. it's a trendy restaurant that lives up to great standards. i have been here plenty of times and was never once disappointed. it's a go to comfort place. although there is a waiting list outside the restaurant all weekend, it is worth the 5 - 10 min wait. there's is a great variety of food, dessert and drinks. the service is great and the staff are friendly. definitely a go to place for a laid back meal.
must try:
- main meals: quesadilla, pasta and chicken prego.
- breakfast: french toast with berry compote and you can add in some macon/bacon (bestbreakfastever created)
- dessert: pumpkin fritters
- drinks: turkish delight

hadbreakfastthe other....terrible idea...ordered a dish of livers, no flavour whatsoever...just soaked in store bought bottled bbg sauce...very disappointed

busy joint, as usual. they do the bestbreakfasttart (pastry with 2 eggs, sausage, tomatoes and onion). carrot cake to die for! and if you’re one of the lucky ones, you will get a custard slice over a weekend.
finish it all off with either cuppacino or frulatta...yum

i can understand why this place is so popular! i have never had a bad experience here... frombreakfastto lunch to dinner, everything has been great!! the service is excellent & the staff are very friendly & helpful.

the menu is very cool because it offers something different & a very nice variety. forbreakfasti like the minibreakfastbuns, for lunch the sandwiches are very good & for dinner i would recommend a pasta (but i'm sure whatever you have will be delicious).

as everyone knows, a tashas anywhere is always a safe bet. the food and service was very good and great value, fresh and good quality. one thing i can complain about is their idea of rye bread, have yet to be served anything close to rye bread. above this very small negative, tashas will always be my first choice forbreakfastor lunch.

dinner at tashas is always a lovely experience, however the restaurant is a bit small and it quite busy so it gets a bit cluttered haha.

i had a caffè latte which was perfectly layered.

a creamy pesto pasta, was really nice but a bit under seasoned. the waiter said there was chilli in the dish and of course it was bland and had to add my own chilli. this of course goes perfectly with a lovely glass of merlot. we all know that a meal without wine is calledbreakfasthaha..

what a lovely atmosphere just when you walk in. the exclusive menu is something which you must focus on-it's exclusive to this branch. what i had was the pesto creamy pasta. if you love basil pesto, do your self a favour and try it. you know what's really good is those parmesan cheese grater that comes to the table, i don't know why but i find it such a classic italian touch. service was excellent and staff friendly. try the fillet, it's really a true dish 👌 what i enjoy most at any tasha's is thebreakfastand eggs benedict 😏

there are obviously plenty branches everywhere, but this was honestly the first time i was disappointed by the service of tashas staff. we sat down and had a coffee and the empty mugs were only removed once we paid the bill after our meal. this might seem petty, but this really bothered me. the staff was not as lively and happy as i've come to expect at a tashas. other than that, thebreakfastwas great. i can never fault the food. i had the village croissant which was good as always and my hubby loved his one pan breakfast. a little disappointed but left with a full belly.

this tasha's has a really great vibe and a lovely setting and makes for the perfect place for bothbreakfastand lunches. the turkish delight cocktail is fantastic and i really enjoy the chicken prego and their caesar salad.

i hardly eat out forbreakfastbut i had ulterior motives for driving about 50 km just to havebreakfastat tashas. i decided to have a mini cappuccino while i wait for the beautiful reason why i was there to arrive ruby , well the cappuccino was worth the price, totally enjoyed it.
i decided to have the classicbreakfast(two eggs, 2 italian sussages, bacon and mashrooms) thinking it was a bit over priced but i loved it. everything on my plate was well cooked and my love of mashrooms was elevated.

a constant classic where one can be assured to always receive quality food and service. the signature menu is also a lovely quirk for each individual restaurant. frombreakfastall the way through to dinner you are spoilt for choice, maybe too much choice. favourite dish: open salmon sandwich. only downfall is no bookings are allowed.

i've been to tasha's a few times and always felt they were a bit too expensive. something that dawned on me while eatingbreakfastat tashas in brooklyn/ design quarter is that i was spending over r80 on breakfast! that's the sort of price for pay for dinner! another thing, which everyone at the table agreed upon, was that the servings were massive. i had two slices of toast piled with mushrooms, two poached eggs, feta, spinach and other stuff i've probably forgotten. it was huge! i would have preferred just one piece of toast with the toppings and paid r40. it wasn't the type of meal you could take home and eat later and still have tasted good and fresh.

even the lady at the adjacent table was presented with an entire paw paw smothered in yoghurt and almonds. it looked amazing but what person can eat a whole paw paw in one sitting?!

so for me, tasha's needs to tone down on their portion sizes and cut the price too.
