it was kind of crowded (seats and tables are way too close to each other, there's a lack of personal space) but the food made up for it.

nothing bad to say about any of the branches except that the menu could do with more vegan options. great service and attention, fresh, flavorful ingredients, good presentation, delicious freshly squeezed juice, cute decor...tashas is never a bad choice. this branch is more comfortable in terms of table set up than the morningside one, although almost as busy. a definite must go just for the protein smoothie options.

the most amazing turkish delight cocktail. i didn't want it to end. on the other hand i've had their freshly squeezed juices which are so fresh and full of flavour.

as everyone knows, a tashas anywhere is always a safe bet. the food and service was very good and great value, fresh and good quality. one thing i can complain about is their idea of rye bread, have yet to be served anything close to rye bread. above this very small negative, tashas will always be my first choice for breakfast or lunch.

had a succulent luch which featured a tasha's brooklyn original....ribs and flame grilled corn. the meat and sauce were amazingly prepared and i think it is safe to say that i ate it like a pig hahaha.

i absolutely adore tasha's, brooklyn and i have been regular at the restaurant since it's very first day of opening.

the service is good and i have always been surrounded by friendly staff and management.

the quality of food is second to none and i enjoy the ambience of brooklyn design square.

i have so many favorites - where do i start!!! definitely the best frullatas, affogatos, pina coladas, turkish delight cocktails, beef burgers and salads in town. it's a pity that the mariner and golden pear salads are no longer on the menu.

oooh......their carrot and red velvet cake is like a little piece of heaven!!

this week, i've dined at tasha's twice.....the lamb chops were so tender, tasty and utterly superb, that i had to go back for more. possibly the best lamb chops in town.

what can i say......i'm a loyal tasha's patron☺️.

tashas, brooklyn, reimagines the classics of a family kitchen with some interesting twists.

i chose the braai broodjie off the specials menu which was an excellent choice for a light meal. the smokey sandwich oozed with good quality cheese which was perfectly balanced by their chunky chutney. this was served with a couple of small worse sausages which were disappointingly slightly over cooked and very dry. despite this the sandwich lived up to the aspirations our own braai broodjies never quite reach.

tashas prices are a little steep (r68 for what was essentially a well made toasted sandwich) but the ambiance makes up for it. the dutch huguenot inspiration is clear and the dining space carefully balanced rich textures with elegance minimalism.

our waiter, brian, was very helpful and was always there when we needed anything without hovering. the service was quick, efficient, and friendly.

this place is constantly raved about. we aren't sure why. service was less than pleasant with our watron quite blasé. we ordered the banting burger choice, patties served in lettuce cups. it took ages for the meal to arrive and then i had to send the food back twice because the meat was raw. when i received it back the first time, it was clearly microwaved. no one seemed very apologetic about anything. the food is quite pricey so this experience was disappointing.

went for lunch yesterday..had the hake goujons and lindt coffee..what a delight..well presented and delicious..my mum had the mozarrella cheese and tomato sandwich also really good..will be back

amazing cocktails to end off a tough day with some mouth watering food to finish it off!!! the mini burgers are the best... with the turkish delight cocktail to wash it down!

one of my favourite restaurants in pretoria! always good, friendly service! food is delicious and fresh! simply love the pesto cream pasta! i always return for it, as i am a massive pasta lover! perfect spot for a date or catching up with some good friends

dinner at tashas is always a lovely experience, however the restaurant is a bit small and it quite busy so it gets a bit cluttered haha.

i had a caffè latte which was perfectly layered.

a creamy pesto pasta, was really nice but a bit under seasoned. the waiter said there was chilli in the dish and of course it was bland and had to add my own chilli. this of course goes perfectly with a lovely glass of merlot. we all know that a meal without wine is called breakfast haha..

took a trip to tashas as a study break and getaway, indulged in a strawberry frullato, and can easily say it was the most tasty shake i have tasted in a while!!
