taranto's crawfish

pretty good.. my husband was craving crawfish while we we're in biloxi so i searched the web and found this place.
he really enjoyed his crawfish. i'm not aseafoodor anything that comes out of water fan so i ordered chicken strips and fried pickles. both we're pretty good, especially the pickles. i would definitely recommend this place!

seafood platter. great food but when i pay $23.00 for a platter ofseafoodi got 6 small shrimp, 6 small oysters and 1 small piece of fish, 1 crab cake. i know several people that has made these same comments about getting shorted onseafoodthere when ordering take out . also when i orderseafoodi dont care for 60% of my food being potatoes { vegetables } ? maybe taronto's will read this and beef up the oysters, shrimp and fish ?

very overpriced for mediocre food. hole in the wall place tucked way out in woolmarket, the food isn't terrible- it's just mediocre and nothing to write home to maw or paw about, the portions are average for aseafoodrestaurant but the prices are ridiculous! the wait staff isn't very attentive or friendly, they act like they are super busy and barely have time for you with about 5 people in there, it's kind of funny to watch. had to ask for a refill twice even after the waitress walked passed me a couple times.
if this place was top notch eats then i wouldn't mind paying $25.00 for a roast beef poboy with a side of fries and a tiny drink but it's just average sysco food with a little tony's on top. the crawfish are good but everything else is average. i've had way better food and cheaper prices with friendlier servers all over the coast. no reason to return.

taranto's was an excellent choice for our last meal on the coast. the friedseafoodplatter was great and bountiful. will definitely visit them again.

awesome food. our good friends took us out to eat on a friday night. they have the bestseafoodaround! i highly recommend trying their food. it's a "hole in the wall" kinda place, no need for really dressing up.....they have better food than the red lobster....i will definitely be visiting this place often(-:

good, but not exceptional. is how i would characterize the food we had at taranto's. we had the friedseafoodplatter and the grilled shrimp salad and finished with bread pudding. the shrimp salad was very good and the shrimp had a distinctive flavor. my friedseafoodplatter was a mixed bag. the crab cake was very tasty, the breading complimented the crab and didn't hide the crab flavor. the fried oysters were oh so good, delicate, salty, and sweet. the fried shrimp were rather undistinguished. the one fillet of fried catfish was thin and overpowered by the frying, but the other was nice, plump, and sweet. tho' the breading on each was not very flavorful. the fries were ok, but plentiful. the bread pudding was ok, but again not exceptional. the service, tho', was exceptional, but they were not very busy on a saturday evening. the booths were kinda tight and 2 normal size people cannot sit across from each other. this first trip was good enough to warrant a follow-on to try some of the boiled seafood.

good seafood. this little restaurant is not much but they can serveseafooddone right. if you want to go out to eat without getting dressed up but still want good food, this is the place for you. we have been coming here for years and it just seems to get better. we thought after the original owner died, it may not be as good but it is still great.

best in biloxi!. for both the quality, and quantity taranto's has the bestseafoodaround!!! every time i'm in biloxi, i always make it a point to eat here at least once during my stay!

very good! plates, poor boys. got the gumbo,seafoodplate, side of mud bugs, shrimp poorboy too! the place is not much to look at but they know how to fix it!
