each tapas is generously portioned and has a nice profile of flavours. every dish tasted very good, hard to pick our favourites.

the grilled octopus was tender meld well together with the pesto romesco sauce. the scallop was perfectly cooked served with a nice fruity marmalade sauce. the vine tomatoes and goat cheese is a nice combination with a basilic oil which we literately soaked the bread in it - so addictive. the braised short ribs, braised for at least four hours, were fork-tender, fall-off the bone and flavourful. finally, the churros dipped in chocolate - heavenly, excellent dessert to finish off the meal.

went there for my birthday and got a great services. the paella is good but personally i would like it a bit more dry. my favorite is the garlic shrimp :)

dissapointed. my friend and i made reservations at this restaurant for her birthday last friday. unfortunately, i am unable to rate the food, as we were rudely turned away when we arrived a few minutes late. although we were suppose to have the table until 8, the waiter had given away our table without even as much as a call to warn us. but that's not the worst part, when we arrive, the host was extremely rude and condescending, would not give us the time of day, and asked us to leave the restaurant.

we have never felt so humiliated nor disrespected. needless to say, we won't be recommending this place any time soon, and will never step foot there again. it might be the best tapas restaurant in town, but that's no way to treat customers...

not the best tapas bar. i've been a quest to find the best tapas bar in montreal for the past 4 years ever since i moved back to the city after living in europe (mostly catalan country) for a few years.
having tried many tapas bars in montreal, i must say that i was quite disappointed with tapeo. the ambiance is cool but the menu is not great and neither is the food.
in my opinion, the best tapas bar in montreal is casa tapas followed by taza flores. don't waste your money on tapeo

comme toujours la bouffe est excellente mais le service y est devenu très bourru. nous étions un groupe de 8 un samedi soir (21janvier 2012) pour y fêter l'anniversaire d'un ami. tout le long du repas les serveurs nous rappelaient qu'il fallait quitter pour 19:30 en regardant leurs montres. il y a un des serveurs qui lançait les plats sur la table et par la suite un autre c'est accrohé très rudement sur moi en s'excusant rapidement et froidement. le comble est quand un des serveurs avec son cabaret m'a frappé derrière la tête et a fait semblant de rien.

my top 5 in mtl. have been a patron since its firsts plates were served, and still, in my top 5 favorite restaurants in montreal!
even had them cater my birthday dinner at home so friends could have a taste!
most probably the best beef tartare, ever!!!
always great service & ambiance!
love the unpretentious mood!

wow! wow! wow!. le genre de resto qui te fait oublier que tu es à montréal et qui te rappelle ton voyage en espagne. les tapas sont exquis, pas trop réinventés, bonne portion (contrairement au pintxo), bon service, choix de vin pour tous les budgets. génial! mon top parmi les tapas: les pétoncles qui fondent dans la bouche, le classique jambon serrano, la chaudrée de champignon (n'oubliez pas de creuver l'oeuf sur les champignons), les morceaux de saumon avec pamplemousse. ne prenez pas les calmars frits, y'en a dans tous les restos! demandez les tapas du jours et n'oubliez surtout pas de réserver.

even with a reservation, we were made to wait twenty five minutes. in response to our irritation, as it was my parents twenty fifth anniversary dinner, the manager took on a surprisingly defensive attitude and told us that the reservation we made for the night was actually written in the calendar for the next night, and that he decided not to tell us and “let us in anyway”. so really, what he was saying was that he was doing us a favor. the restaurant business i

délicieux!. très bonne bouffe! la carpaccio de porc est à essayer absolument! belle carte des vins composé principalement de vins d'espagne. le service était courtois et attentionné. beau décor, belle ambiance, cependant, la musique un peu trop forte. fortement recommandé!

very good food and the service is incredible. the only slight negative was that they only give you a two hour window to eat with your reservation (ours was at 6 and they said we had to be dine by 8)

best tapas we hate in montreal. we had good expectations when we tried tapeo's. the service was impeccable and dany (our main waiter) was very knowledgeable of both the wine list and all the dishes. we went with dany's suggestion which was to let the chef prepare 9 surprise tapas for us... and the result was wow! everything was very tasty and matched with our spanish wine. even the desserts were incredible! the only drawback, it's a bit pricy, but then again this depends on your personal budget... i highly recommend you try it with your spouse, date, business partner or any other casual encounter. ask for dany, he's a great waiter. enjoy!

super bon tapas, et bon service, on adore la table de la chef avec vue sur la cuisine. les croquettes à la morue étaient délicieuses!! bien aimé notre 1ere expérience, nous y retournerons bientôt, très bientôt:)
