lovetacozulu! their pizzas are amazing!
i think they take the record for largest pizzas served in durban or most probably the whole of south africa.
if you’re going in group then i suggest getting the large pizza, it’s literally as large as a table so you won’t go home hungry.
they also serve small pizzas which i love as well.

if you're craving a good (super sized) pizza then i would definitely recommend a visit totacozulu. florida road is one of my favourite places in durban, mainly because of the high number of eating joints on this road.
my friend and i popped in for lunch here. the service was horrid, we were practically forgotten and had to flag down the waiters just to get them to help us.
however, the food was great. we had tacos, nachos and the manogrin pizza. we only got the medium size, but the table next to us got the table pizza and it is huge !

overall, a good spot. hopefully the service is better out of peak season

i remembertacozulu being a lot neater looking in the past. however the food is still decent, and being so central; it’s still a pretty popular place to meet up for drinks or the like.

i’d maybe rate it a 3, but i don’t feel as if the cost is relative to the setting, or the originality of the menu.

meal & milkshakes were divine. the music was a bit loud but then i suppose that's just old age on my part. a good first experience attacozulu and will be back to try the largest pizza in durban very soon! :-) ;-)

i ended up here one evening recently with two girlfriends, and there was a full on party happening both upstairs and downstairs around us which was really festive. 

taco zulu "mexican grill & cocktail bar", to me, has the perfect location as florida road is renowned for its excellent vibe, but sadly that is where it ends. what confuses me though is that i am not too sure whattacozulu is trying to be and it cheapens their brand.. are wetacosushi,tacopizza ortacomexican (as the name and logo implies)? i also am a good tipper, but don't like it when a mandatory 10% is added to my bill for a meal just because we spent over r600 (which can be done easily these days) and it grated me that much more because our service received on this visit was really terrible. 

anyway, the cocktails were good and we managed to capitalize on their 4-7pm cocktail special so it was worth the visit although i am not sure that i would return.

i foundtacozulu has a great atmosphere. it can feel a little cramped, though if your a large group. the service was great and the food was fresh and abundant. great for friends looking for a great time

i went back today for my favouritetacobut the waiter tricked me by telling me about a burrito special. it sounded good at the time but when my bill arrived, i was charged r50 extra!! apparently the waiter mentioned it but i didn't hear??? yeah right. i was not pleased at all!

from my last review, i maintain that the whole set up is a bit tacky and the service isn't all that great either but the naughty amigo tacos are to die for so i'd recommend getting them as a takeaway.

had an great lunch here! good service. i must say the 'club' scene is evident when you visit it during the day so its not as welcoming but the food was a pleasant surprise! i am a big fan of mexican food andtacozulu did not disappoint! definitely make a turn there.

most people might think oftacoas the space with the big pizza but wait for the sushi. a big shout out to ayanda- best salmon roses for days... together with the cocktails we had a blast.

first triedtacozulu with a friend who suggested it. the menu was appealing and i decided to go with a burger. our food took just about an hour to come and we constantly had to call upon waiters to remind them that we were still waiting.

the food was however good but it was overshadowed by the terrible service.

taco is good food for a good time. its not fine dinning but a good chilling out with the friends type of place. there's hardly any deco. when its packed the service is not the best. but if you looking for a good hang out stop with some good food thentacois your place.

in my honest opiniontacozulu has to be one of the most overrated restaurants in durban. the food is average at best, the service is poor and the decor is really nothing great.
