best place to hang out with friends and enjoy good food and drink. still serves some of the best sushi in durban. pizza's are always on point. and the wide range of cocktails and drinks are the best.

monster pizzas and great cocktails. definitely one of the coolest hangout places. groovy vibe with an awsome atmosphere and an overall well priced night out.

love taco zulu! their pizzas are amazing!
i think they take the record for largest pizzas served in durban or most probably the whole of south africa.
if you’re going in group then i suggest getting the large pizza, it’s literally as large as a table so you won’t go home hungry.
they also serve small pizzas which i love as well.

firstly the menu here isn't up to date...

secondly, the food imo is overpriced for what you get. it's pretty average.

waiters that i had were pretty unfriendly and off-putting... yikes.

menus always seem to change, food’s still the same but they hike up the prices. waitress was unfriendly, food was nothing to shout about. overall poor service.

food was alright but it is extremely overpriced and the service was not great at all. the pizza took 30 minutes longer than all the other food and it took another 30 minutes to get our bill. no toilet paper in the ladies room and the overall restaurant is in need of better upkeep. wouldn’t return here again.

place is busy but why 🤷🏼‍♂️
pizzas suck.
all their food is crap.
cocktails are never nice.
hooka is tasteless and not clean.
place is always very loud.
been here a few times because of friends and always a disappointment. i personally won’t go here but we always getting invited for socials or birthdays. guess people get wowed with their tasteless huge pizza.

great food ,the place could use a bit of up lift,as most of its tables needs serviettes in order to balance them a bit pricey for the ambience but worth a try

i love the vibe of this place. we underestimated the large pizza, it really is huge! lol...we had the lamb pizza. the carne asada burrito is also a must try😋😋

the food was pretty average, with the stand out meal being the tempura prawn california roll. the sushi was by far the best we’ve had for a while. the nachos was also quite tasty, especially with the accompaniments.
also had the mexican steak which was lacking in flavor, as was the starter calamari.
overall, a satisfactory lunch, though nothing to write home about.

if you're craving a good (super sized) pizza then i would definitely recommend a visit to taco zulu. florida road is one of my favourite places in durban, mainly because of the high number of eating joints on this road.
my friend and i popped in for lunch here. the service was horrid, we were practically forgotten and had to flag down the waiters just to get them to help us.
however, the food was great. we had tacos, nachos and the manogrin pizza. we only got the medium size, but the table next to us got the table pizza and it is huge !

overall, a good spot. hopefully the service is better out of peak season

i remember taco zulu being a lot neater looking in the past. however the food is still decent, and being so central; it’s still a pretty popular place to meet up for drinks or the like.

i’d maybe rate it a 3, but i don’t feel as if the cost is relative to the setting, or the originality of the menu.

amazing atmosphere to accompany the spectacular food! one of the best spots for great sushi in durban and the pizza is unrivaled with an extensive flavor selection and a hefty cocktail menu.

their large pizzas are pretty cool. i was a bit disappointed the last time i went because the food wasn't as amazing as it was the first time. the service is good. the setting is quite nice but the large pizza is nice to share in a group.

amazing vibe, very chilled place to be @ with great company and the food was delicious by far the best calamari and tacos i've had. will definitely visit this place over and over again.
