table thirteen is the oneplacei've been coming back to. the service is fast and friendly and they've got delicious breakfast and lunch. coffee is good and is presented very nicely. situated in a semi-busy one way street, i've been sitting there and working from time to time. frequented mostly by people working in the area it seems.
recommending pretty much anything they have ready made at the counter, it's all fresh and tastes great.
they also have wifi.

i have been eyeing this little coffee shop for a while now. being on the entertainer app is just a plus!

i have read other reviews of people complaining that there's no parking. i think this can be quite an issue during the week. we went on a saturday for lunch and got a parking just around the corner.

arriving in the small, cozy shop, we were friendly seated. i ordered an americano, which was amazing! for something to eat, i wanted a chickpea wrap, but unfortunately they were out of chickpeas. the reason for this is that they mainly focus on breakfast on saturdays. i opted for a butternut wrap and it was really good! would definitely recommend it!

my fiancé had a macchiato which he really enjoyed with a bacon sandwich. it looked amazing not going to lie!

i would recommend thisplaceto anyone looking for a quick lunch or breakfast. friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere.

had to try thisplaceafter seeing so many good reviews on it.
it is one if those gems i would never venture into if i hadn't heard good things previously. the property is small and quite cramped inside but it has character and a certain quirkiness that you expect from a cafe in de waterkant.
we both ordered the poached eggs on rosti, mine was bacon and hubby's was salmon.
both our eggs were cooked exactly to how we ordered them so they get an extra mark for that!
the rosti was crispy, and extremely generous in size, whilst packing in plenty of flavour.
i would have liked a little more hollandaise sauce but they made up for that with a generous helping of bacon.
have to mention how nice the coffee was too, and the fresh juices are yum! worth a try of you are in the area

stunning littleplacein green point! had breakfast here at about 10am and it was fairly full. the staff are so helpful and always waiting to take your order or clear the table. the man who took our order was really helpful and suggested a few things for us. he even made a plan when the croissants ran out and gave my partner a bagel replacement. i had the smashed breakfast which was well priced for such a large portion, could’ve done with a squeeze of lemon but that’s my avo preference. my eggs were done perfectly which is always a bonus! the coffee is strong and comes in various sizes. overall loved the place!

very sweet cafe located in greenpoint.

they serve some great breakfasts for a reasonable price. i really enjoyed their salmon poached eggs with avo on a bagel. it would of been nice to add some butter or cream cheese to the salmon side of the bagel as it was a bit dry.

thisplaceseems to be very popular among locals, and sell decent coffee and pastries to go too.

we decided to give this littleplacea try after finding it on entertainer and were grateful to find a nice warm little store inside. the service was pretty good and i liked the selection, i thought everything on the breakfast menu looked delicious. my boyfriend absolutely loved his eggs benedict on rostis, and we both enjoyed our coffees. i was less impressed with my meal. the farm style bread was definitely not farm style and i found the breakfast a little underwhelming. i'd go back and try something with a bit of a sauce, it would probably be a bit more flavoursome.

i love going out to awesome breakie spots and thisplaceis no exception. it's up there with my best, so glad i finally got to go the other day. they have banting and low carb options which is cool. coffee is great and i love their see through cups, see pics. had a great catch up with a good friend. we both had eggs benedict, poached on a thin potato rosti with bacon, mushrooms and caramelized onions. with an extra egg. it was divine!!! there are other menu items that i have to go back and try. theplaceis pretty small, but that adds to it's awesome character. staff and owner (i assume) were were friendly and helpful. newly refurbished i believe. it's on the entertainer, so get the app. that's the reason i initially went. so much breakie variety in ct, we are pretty blessed when it comes to awesome options. pop in for a great breakfast like i did, open saturdays. catch you there...

place is small and cosy. little bit too small. luckily for us today wasn't a busy day and the guy sitting at the table outside offered it to us as we were 3 to his 1 which i found very sweet of him. the restaurant is right on the road and the road is very busy so if you like that sort of thing then thisplaceis for you, however when the dirt trucks drive past it sucks really. had the breakfast buffet which was a big mistake as they clearly made the food hours before we got there so everything was hard and cold. a plus is the coffee was great, tried the cuppacino and americano. pity i didn't try the normal breakfasts as i won't be back any time soon.

decided to stop at table thirteen for lunch after a mean exam with a bunch of friends. this small cafe is quite hidden away in greenpoint and is pretty small. however they seem to be quite popular and well i'm still wondering why...

let me just say that the service was really great. from the get go we were attended to and arrangements were made to accommodate a table of 7. the waiter and owner were quite friendly and helpful and we had our drinks brought to us quickly. i had a mocha which was made with white chocolate instead of milk, which was finished and it tasted like a usual coffee. anyways we ordered food and we're warned that it might take a while as they have a small kitchen which we were fine with.

the food turned out to be quite a disappointment. i had the hot chick burger. the chicken breast was meant to have a cajun spice: it literally did not even have salt on it. it was simply what looked and tasted like a boiled piece of chicken with toppings on a plate with salad and no dressing as promised on the menu. my friends also had the cheeseburger which they didn't enjoy compared to some of the burgers that we've had. the patty seemed to consist of more than just meat and kinda tasted like a patty you would buy from a supermarket. the burgers came with a small amount of sweet potato crisps which were half soggy half crispy. we also had a pizza which had an extremely thin base, more like a pizza crepe. for the prices of the food i must say that you can get much better, tastier, more seasoned food elsewhere.

table thirteen is quite homely and small and i really wanted to love the experience but the food really let me down. i find it quite unpleasant to think that i brought my friends to such aplacewith high hopes and felt pretty let down afterwards. i give them a 3 for their service but it's not somewhere i would go again. maybe lunch isn't their speciality, but then again they shouldn't have a lunch menu if that's the case. an experience like this just makes me sad.

this tiny, cute, quaintplacepunches way above its size when it comes to breakfast. the service is friendly, fast and efficient and the rosti breakfast was unusual and totally moreish. i've been twice in the last month and expect to retuen regularly. and did i mention the great coffee from the vintage-looking machine?

ive been driving past this quaint littleplaceon my way to work for months and decided to try it out for breakfast today.
the vintage decor and black boards against the walls make for a nice cosy atmosphere. i was quickly seated near the coffee bar where i had a front row seat to the manager/owner operating his coffee station like a busy er- barking orders into the kitchen and at the waiting staff (theplacewas not busy at all). despite that, the waitress was pleasant and friendly. and he did calm down to a panic a while later and was very pleasant to me.
i wondered if my chipped coffee cup was to be considered part of the vintage atmosphere but it seemed a bit tired, not quaint.

the menu is interesting and quite complex for such a tiny spot, i would think. i ordered the banting breakfast with toast (obviously). the food was incredible. perfectly poached eggs, lovely bacon, an actual avo (in these times that is scarce) and very flavourful tomatoes and mushrooms. the toast was also artisinal bread, which i believe is an absolute must if you charge money for breakfast.
i generally dont like it when managers treat staff badly. im hoping he was just having a bad day. and i'll come back to check one of these days. if only for those eggs.
