first off yeah for being pet friendly. sir duke of corgalot enjoyed his stroll down the street and then nestling himself amongst the flower pots at the foot of our table.

i've been trying to visit this particular spot for a while but it's always been full. so with some good timing i managed to get agreatseat outside to enjoy the last bit of cape town warm before winter kicks in.

we ordered a latte and a cappuccino and both were served as a double shot and the coffee was strong not burnt and hadgreatfoam. the food is prepared to a high standard and i was really impressed with my breakfast. to end off the meal i had a nutella and cream cheese cinnamon bun which went down a treat. can't wait to come back and sample more off the menu.

what a disappointment. 1st thing i noticed was that in the blistering heat, there was next to no shade, and sitting inside was hotter than outside as it was so stuffy.

the staff were very nice and the food came out quickly but that too was disappointing. they claim to give you a cheese filled burger, yet it's basically a patty cut in half and cheese put on the middle? of they wasn't to see a cheese filled burger, go to jerrys, they could teach you a lesson.

also the burger just fell apart in my hands, that's due to the poor quality bun :( i do feel like this could be agreatmorning spot however. and think i will be back. soon to try it.

very sweet cafe located in greenpoint.

they serve somegreatbreakfasts for a reasonable price. i really enjoyed their salmon poached eggs with avo on a bagel. it would of been nice to add some butter or cream cheese to the salmon side of the bagel as it was a bit dry.

this place seems to be very popular among locals, and sell decent coffee and pastries to go too.

met a friend here for early morning coffee and catch up. a very cute spot in agreatlocation. well priced and tasty menu, delicious coffee and friendly service although our waiter was maybe a bit inexperienced and a little slow. he did get alterations to the menu right but missed the coffee special on our bill. nice work spot :)

heardgreatthings about them but on our first visit waited an hour for our food.  our burgers were dry, had old ingredients and very bland.  also overpriced for what you can get elsewhere.  friendly / helpful staff though. happy to give them another chance.

really quaint little restaurant around the corner from the foundry. popped in for breakfast after a walk on the promenade. it was quite cramped and hot inside so we decided to sit outdoors. unfortunately there was a lot of dust due to road work - but i imagine it is usually really lovely and a popular seating choice.

the flat whites we ordered were beautifully presented , but i was not personally wowwed by the actual coffee. for breakfast i ordered the poached eggs with crispy bacon and hollandaise. i asked for a bagel but was brought a rosti - however, we waited quite a while for the food, i was hungry and the rosti looks delicious so i was happy to accept the meal.

my eggs were poached to my liking and the different components to the breakfast ensemble were lovely , especially the caramelized onions and the well balanced hollandaise. the rosti was nice and big and tastedgreat- however i would advise going with a bagel as i felt its texture and thickness would have better complimented the other things on the plate, as the rosti was quite flat.

my partner in crime ordered the flapjacks and we were happy that they accomdated his request to switch out the cream cheese for berry compote. i had a taste of the flapjacks and they were quite average.

it felt a little hit and miss for me, but i still enjoyed my meal. would i go back? yeah, i felt there were enough good factors to warrant a 2nd visit. happy to return in the future to try out their lunch menu. the boyfriend has had their burgers and enjoyed them.

i visited this cute café and i'm so glad i did! parking is a bit of an issue, and i had to park quite a distance away. however their food and the friendliness of the owners/managers made up for it. i ordered the amatriciana pasta (with baby marrow ribbons) - slow cooked rosa tomatoes with onion and a hint of chili - without the bacon! it was so delicious and packed with flavour, and filling too! my friend ordered the italiano breakfast - 2 poached eggs, fresh tomato, rocket, mozzarella and parma ham served on ciabatta. he said it was delicious but would prefer if the parma ham is grilled next time! we also ordered two muffins - one caramel and one chocolate. these were not only big but also very moist and delicious. overall agreatexperience and i can't wait to go back and try some of the other items on their menu!

i love going out to awesome breakie spots and this place is no exception. it's up there with my best, so glad i finally got to go the other day. they have banting and low carb options which is cool. coffee isgreatand i love their see through cups, see pics. had agreatcatch up with a good friend. we both had eggs benedict, poached on a thin potato rosti with bacon, mushrooms and caramelized onions. with an extra egg. it was divine!!! there are other menu items that i have to go back and try. the place is pretty small, but that adds to it's awesome character. staff and owner (i assume) were were friendly and helpful. newly refurbished i believe. it's on the entertainer, so get the app. that's the reason i initially went. so much breakie variety in ct, we are pretty blessed when it comes to awesome options. pop in for agreatbreakfast like i did, open saturdays. catch you there...

this tiny, cute, quaint place punches way above its size when it comes to breakfast. the service is friendly, fast and efficient and the rosti breakfast was unusual and totally moreish. i've been twice in the last month and expect to retuen regularly. and did i mention thegreatcoffee from the vintage-looking machine?

very happy to have found this little place!greatvariety for banters. i had the banana flapjacks with cream cheese and almonds with extra bacon. my friend had poached eggs with marmite soldiers and we were both very happy with our choices. as its a small place, i would recommend booking before you go. will definately go back to try their other options and their harvest table.

i liked the fact that the decor was less than perfect, warm colors, accessories that display a life of the person that lives there, a history, a warm color palate, someplace you would like to sit yourself down and enjoy a warm coffee and delicious food ☕️☕️☕️🍳
