table thirteen

we had enjoyed breakfast here recently. all of us really enjoyed our choices. i had the almond and flaxseed bread with crème fresh and strawberries. it was very nice and good value for money at r30. will definitly recommended it to anyone looking for a quaint spot for breakfast or tea.

came to table thirteen for a late weekday breakfast. really really enjoyed the coffee, so tasty and strong. the food took a little while to be prepared though. i had the early bird homemade granola, was tasty but unfortunately had more milo cereal and cornflakes than oats, think a healthier recipe would be better. friends choices looked great. advantages are that they have carb free bread and a make your own menu and they're well priced :)

came for a burger special today and boy was it great. very tasty and juicy. the small is small and cute can't be a little loud with passing by cars but still a great little restaurant. our server was very efficient and hands on.

very tiny place, i usually just drive past it but today i decided to stop and try it out. when i saw that they did all day breakfasts i was ecstatic, as it was exactly what i felt like. the food was really delicious, simple, nothing fancy but it tasted great, you could taste the freshness of all their ingredients. i had the poached eggs , with crispy bacon, spinach and roasted cherry tomatoes on wholewheat seed bread. so good!!

i found table thirteen to be a little strange. it's not a restaurant, not quite a cafe. it's something like, going to a friends house and eating while you're there.

the people are very friendly and massively accommodating. but the small things, for me, fall short.

love! love! love this place. we popped in for their saturday buffet breakfast and we loved it! the food was delicious - freshly squeezed oj, divine sparkling wine and incredible home baked pastries/breads with homemade jams - but my favourite was the service. i felt so at home and happy here. we will definitely be back.

stopped at table thirteen for lunch, and it was okay... i remember going to tt several years ago when i still worked in green point, and always had fond memories, so i guess i was left a little disappointed after this last visit.

sitting outside, you get a lovely view of passersby, so it's a great spot for people-watching, but there are not many tables inside, and the doors are wide open onto those tables. i can imagine if it's a colder day, tt could be a little unpleasant.

i decided to have the 'farm style cheese, onion & tomato toastie with sweet potato & butternut chips'. the toastie was very tasty, but didn't have much cheese, and the chips were a little too soggy. all in all, for r45, i felt a little underwhelmed.

also, i asked for the iced lemonade, which i thought would be homemade, and got a bottle of sir juice lemonade and glass of ice. again, just a bit of a letdown.

table thirteen is good for a quick lunch/coffee stop, but i don't think i will go out of my way to return.

so cute and homey. the staff are amazing and so is their breakfasts and my very favorites, red or chai latte. they have also recently introduced their freezos for summer. super tasty .

great spot to grab lunch or a quick drink. love that they offer a build your own meal option. their burgers are delish and they offer a variety of treats. their brownies are just wow!

a lovely little spot for lunch. friendly staff and quick service. we had their gourmet burgers and were totally stuffed. im glad i visited this cosy restaurant.

what a great quaint little spot in the middle of the hustle and bustle of green point. fresh cakes and breads as well as flavourful coffees and lattes. staff are also very friendly.

really cute place and everyone super keen to serve and satisfy. was introduced to this place via a groupon special advertised as a "high tea" for two. upon arrival, it was evidently clear that that term could not apply! high teas usually include an impressive display of homemade cakes and savoury items. after we sat down, we received a single tray of mixed sweets to share. variety was poor and quality not great. most of the stuff was way too sweet and there was no savoury selection at all. ended up leaving feeling rather bloated for a mid morning dine. service was very good. parking a major problem.

what a lovely quaint little restaurant with a very homely feel. i had the carrot cake which was absolutely divine. it has the feel of traditional recipes that have been passed down from family members and the carrot cake was spot on!

the most beautiful, homey and quaint little cafe in the heart of cape town. their foodie is crazy delicious and well priced making it my lunch time go to place everyday! my week is never complete without their phenomenal chocolate brownies. never! i am in love with this little gem.

great spot for coffee and meetings and is nice and conveniently placed right around the corner from our offices. how amazing are these cupcakes that they had made for #christmasinjuly!!!!

i am getting used to the awesome lunch and snack baskets that table thirteen send around the offices in the area - crunchies are to die for! and also had a delish piece of pizza today
