hipster invasion and stupid employees. host dude (hd), you suck.

my friends and i ventured to swingers friday evening (oops.....sat morning) to get some nourishment as our night of partying depleted all the available calories in our system.

the host came by and asked for my name and promptly wrote it down on his clipboard.

5minutespassed and...................
hd: sir, what is your name so that i can put it on the clip board?
me: huh? my name is right there......@6 names down from the top.
hd: oh, my bad. your table should be ready soon.
me: thanks man.

5 mins later..........................
hd: "sir, what's your name so i can put it down on the clipboard."
me: dude, thats my name 3 from the top.
hd: gives me a blank look which slowly transformed into a dazed look and walks away.

5 mins later...................
hd: would you like to put your name on the clipboard to wait for a table?
me: err........thats me in the #1 position.
hd: oh, cool.

2 mins later...........
hd: are you waiting for a table? if so, i need your name to write on my clipboard.
me: walked out and went to big tomy's. mmmm!

i swear the host is either:

1. stupid
2. retarded
3. stupid and retarded

i have a sneaking suspicion its #3.

this is the worst restaurant ever!!!. the service in this restaurant has declined to the point where it is worst than a fast food drive thru. i have had breakfast at this restaurant 3x in a two month span. each time it has taken them a minimum of 10minutesfor someone to take a drink order. once you order your drinks you have to wait at least 10 moreminutesto receive them. and then you can count on your food order arriving completely wrong! i complained to the manager and he got a twitch in his face and took it completely personally and half heartedly offered to re-order it. we walked out. horrible service, horrible manager, terribly run restaurant, not worth the wait. go to jinky's on 2nd street, they know how to treat a customer and get your order correct every time.
