one of our favorite places in kc! it's a hidden gem. thefoodis delicious and the service is great! the sushi chefs are craftsmen. highly recommend!

we visited on friday night. had the sashimi sampler to start, and then shared 3 rolls of sushi. the sashimi was fantastic. the sushi was also very good. our service was ok - not bad but could have been a bit more attentive when it came to refills and things. the price was a bit high but thefoodfit that price.

this is a must try. i have tried many asian restaurants around the area and this one is the best. i love all of their sushi options and thefoodcomes out so quick. it's nice to run in for a quick dinner or lunch.

horrible experience. this was our family's first time to sushi haru... and our last. it took us over an hour and a half to get our salad. when we finally got out main courses half of ourfoodwas missing. every time we had to ask for something it took an extra 20 minutes. out of the six people, only 3 liked the food.

omg. thefoodwas great but ill never be back again. the last couple of times i have been there the manager just treats us badly and also his employees even worse. last night i saw him yell and make a scene in the restaurant for a waiter who looked over at him. i mean i don't know the situation but that is just outrages.

my wife and i have tried many different sushi restaurants in kc, and sushi haru is the best. the decor may not be the best, but thefoodmore than makes up for it. the service is good (marcus is awesome) and for those that complain about speed other posts-keep in mind you're not at a fastfoodchain. if you want fancy decor - go to ra, but the sushi isn't as good, and it's so loud you can't hear your date.....

disappointed. we love thefoodand were often patrons of this restaurant. tonight, we went for dinner, ordered our dinner like always, the waitress got the order wrong. we pointed this out and she brought the correct item, leaving the incorrect item on our table. when she presented the check, she apologized and said the manager made her charge us for the incorrect item as well as the replacement item.

sorry but we won't be back.

no longer the same - don't go!. i have been going to sushi haru since they opened...probably over 35 times. went again today after not visiting the last few months (ra sushi is open and has been getting my business with an awesome happy hour). sushi haru was awful...service non-existent and thefoodwas poor...warm sushi rolls is not my idea of yummy. they have lost my business for good...ra sushi and kyoto are the winners

they have an amazing variety of rolls. the "shaggy dog" is fabulous. the service is a little so-so, but thefoodat this suburban sushi mecca makes up for it!
