thisplaceis just awesome. when i had these dishes it was the most tasty and healthy. the best thing to visit in thisplacewas charming chicken. just the food. it was very delicious and tasty. loved the food and specially malai chicken and.

every city has its heroes- people, monuments, buildings, natural gifts, which become the city's pride. the city is known for them, breathes them. it's quite amazing how a restaurant can be one of the city's heroes. yes, that is how much thisplaceis talked about when it comes to food in amritsar. i have been hearing tunes of praises for this dhaba/restaurant ever since i was in school. it's true that thisplacewas among my priorities when i visited amritsar few days back. we came in for an early lunch, but were still surprised to see theplacecompletely empty. the interiors are pretty much barren with just a television and a framed newspaper clipping with praises for this place, though i liked the concept of the see-through kitchen. we ordered amritsari fried fish, tandoori chicken, butter chicken, butter naan, lachha parantha; aka the staple punjabi-mughlai heaven. everything tasted really good but i would say nothing was as good as i'd never had before. honestly, i was quite disappointed with the quantity of the starters because it nowhere matched the prices. the owner is a friendly man and didn't fail to entertain us with his stories of serving famous bollywood stars at this very place. overall, i'd recommend you visit thisplacewhile pretending to be unaware of its proclaimed heroism :)

okay, do yourself a favor and save yourself from theplaceof monstrosity. first of all when you visit this place, in lieu of menu they give you a book filled with testimonials of celebrities visited that place. second, if you are a from delhi or any otherplaceoutside punjab none would care to even greet you with smile. they don't even hand you a menu, they just leave it on your table and mind it, it's a family restro. neverthless, we ordered snacks that took like ages to come , price was hefty as hell and quantity sucked big time. we ended up ordered almost every prime item for snacks and main course but it tasted no good at all. and when the bill came in, i asked politely to hand me a feedback book which they refused and started making excuses. we paid them humungous amount, needless to say my family was pissed at me big time. a horrible horrible experience not form me but some of my cousins visited as well and they share the same thought as i do. stay safe, don't try this.

discovered this food joint when i was visiting amritsar through online reviews in various food blogs and what an experience it was. this restaurant delivers on your need for lip smacking food. the amritsari fish was optimum fried in a way that the fish was juicy. the mutton tikka masala had the moderation of spices roasted in ghee. even the kulcha was delicious. prompt and courteous staff

it was our last meal in amritsar and the best. thisplacewas recommended to us by a few folks, but unlike the crazily touristy restaurants, we were pleasantly surprised to eat here. the mutton tikka, tandoori chicken, fish and butter chicken were just amazing. brownie points to amarjeet and his staff for being so courteous and warm. definitely suggest everyone to visit here - the father and son are doing a fantastic job!!

i was recommended this amazing restaurant by a friend. he had told us to visit here for great amritsari fish and non veg food. we tried the mutton tikka and tawa chicken here too and were delighted. it was an amazing experience dining here. the tandoori chicken was soft and juicy. i have never had a better tandoori chicken in delhi. loved the amritsari fish which was well cooked and so delicious. in main course we enjoyed the tawa chicken which was recommended by the host. all of us had a great meal and we recommend thisplaceto all foodies.

been second time to amritsar this time. we have had recommendations about thisplaceand i can tell you it’s more than worth. we were 11 people and not a single person disagrees with what i’ve just written. we tried tawa chicken, mutton chaap with gravy, dal makhani, paneer tikka masala and chicken pulao. they also modified mutton keema naan to mutton keema paratha. everything was just awesome. i feel theplaceus under rated and deserves more than that. the staff is so humble and nice including the owner. i’d give a 10/10 on everything - start to end, the most amazing experience. if you’re visiting amritsar, there’s no way you miss this while going back home with the most desi, lip smacking flavors! :)

the food was amazing and the hospitality was top notch. the owner mr. surjit singh is an amazing host who showed us his kitchen and was gracious enough to plan our takeaway dinner. the food was par excellence and the tandoori chicken was the best i ever had. must visitplacein amritsar.

i didn't except theplaceto be so expensive for such a small amount of chicken rice they charged me 400 plus tax ,save your money and go to barbeque nation or somewhere good ,the prices are very high for middle class people and for the price they charge they don't serve any thing luxurious.

thisplacewas one of the top food joints in amritsar, but now the quality has deteriorated. theplacelooks old and run down, it might as well be a highway dhaba. the food is okay, but not what it used to be. it really needs a quality check if it wants to survive further.

theplaceis dirty and they just have huge holes for ac vents. waiters are rude and don't take your order unless you call them atleast 5 times. food took one hour to get delivered and was only average tasting.. we were tourists there and had horrible experience with this hotel

thisplacewill beat your hunger.
it’s a bit expensive but it’s worth it.
dont order deserts.it sucks.

theplacewas highly rated on google, and rightly so. we tried the paneer tikka, tandoori chicken, mutton tikka and amritsari fish.
the paneer was one of the best any of us has ever had, very soft and light. the fish was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. all in all, a great meal.
the owner was very helpful as well. is definitely worth another visit!
